I love this manga but why is each page labeled as chapters? If you combined it all, it's barely 2 chapters
I watched the anime before the manga and honestly the manga is better than the anime. Anime was shitty, the Kaori girl was on that beach with her two friends instead of her bf and she wasn't that sensitive to smell. Also, her friends were both fake af and her two friends hated each other. And in the anime, Kaori is the immune one (I think) and her bf don't really meet. The bfs uncle uses the bf in the machine after he gets infected, instead of Kaori.
And the part where Kaori sees the mirror and hates how she looks? In the anime, that scene is actually shown with one of her friend, who thinks she's super pretty and keeps trying to hook up with these two guys she met on the beach.
Honestly, I don't even understand why they changed the story so much. Like, I was wondering how tf ito junji wrote a story so bad. Like, what was the point of showing the friends as hating each other in the anime anyway? They don't even exist in the manga. And the friend who thinks she's pretty is shown kind of nude and stuff trying to hook up with those guys too. It was so irrelevant and stupid.
I mean, Kaori is kind of unlikeable in the manga comparison to the anime one. Bc honestly, she doesn't complain and shout about everything in the anime. But except for that, everything in the anime was shit comparatively.
Also, I don't remember well but the bf wasn't even shown in the anime most of the time. The bf is in Tokyo and kaori is in beach with her friends and she keeps trying to communicate with her bf but they don't meet. And when they do, it's actually in the circus place thing.
Everything done by the bf in the manga is done by Kaori in the anime(Like trying to help people stuck in the legs thingy and other stuff)

And in ch 14, that bitch gets saved by a guy but she says "no thanks, I don't need ur help bc I'm an independent woman". And also thinks the guy has an attitude problem and is annoying? For saving her? Whoever wrote this shit is some sexist ass mf with a rapist mindset who thinks girls are actually dumb as fuck and will like it even if you force yourself to them. The story isn't that bad but the mistranslations and bad grammar is really annoying.
And there are also some holes in the story. I remember when robellia took an oath on maesto(idk how to spell it) to her maid, that if the emperor ends up promising not to leave robellia, she wouldn't leave him/ try to divorce him. But she's still trying our ways to divorce him or get away from him??
Also, she just trusted that priest when he is literally the closest person to Aisha. The way she acted, she basically admitted that she is a "possessor"
