for real, as someone who read the novel, I can say that while there are smut (which was beautifully written), this story is more plot-focused. that's why I got so invested!

maybe hes still in the process into becoming but didnt finish it, like how u download a game and suddenly it cancels halfway. i think something trigger the heat so the process just stop LOL
