
I love yuri. With that in mind... change Fah into a man and people would be howling for blood at this story.
Gender equality is double edged. Meaning, when a drunk woman molests a 15 year old girl, they earn an all expense paid trip to prison.
But this story IS set in Bangkok so...

Nothing happened with the mother, she was just in love with her.

I'm a huge yuri fan but the whole "all men are assholes, and most of the older women..." thing is a little tired. Would love to read more stories that are mixed. Isn't acceptance the point?

Aoi Hana, Sasameki Koto, and Octave are all examples of yuri manga in which there are good male characters. I'm certain there are quite a few other examples, but those three are the ones I thought of from the top of my head. It's more common for yuri manga to not even have any male characters than to have a male character that's a terrible person, I think.
