It’s the sewer they’re in. At least I imagine it like that. It’s often when the colours go really green, it’s just showing that they’re still down in those sewers where light shines down by railings, and there’re these exhausts. I mean it’s drawn like that literally sometimes.
The green light belongs to the life they’re stuck playing in.
Everything that’s happening to them is under the green light right now. It’s what shines down.
Idk if the artist will do so but somehow the opposite — no green light/mood — would mean that they’re out. There’s the first breeze, when they’re no longer down in the sewers (as I keep repeating… >_> ) that go even lower than just out in the streets like just deadbeat drug dealers or even a gang of dogs.
Basically, they’re way deep under. All submerged.

As in, at being a great, cool person. And inspo. Goals.
More than anything else, motivation.
It’s interesting how one doesn’t ever have it all.
He’s great at work. Coolheaded, headstrong, goes forth without any hesitation at all.
That’s cause of his drive and discipline.
But he’s afraid of himself, troubled, facing a seeming-end.
On the other hand, Yuuki is of a positive demeanour. That’s something people want to have.
But he hasn’t gotten hang of his work, which he wants to do.
The leads are good characters, at least on the basics. Not everyone can make basics work, so cheers to the author.

I’m not here to diss a manga that’s snug in a particular popular BL plotline and straight up announces what it’s gonna be like. We all know bout this twin-love BL archetype.
I want to ASK, though, whether it gets… interesting, y’know, like Papa Datte Shittai started with a very tropey noncon beginning. But it developed the characters and came forward with much more depth than I could ever have expected…
So I’m just asking if this one gets like that… gets unique, gains depth etc.
