Actually I thought it would be a lion. I never expected it to become a dragon with that face.

Okay, if it helps, I can give you a summary of what we know about the story so far (that I understand): The main couple, AoAo and Ryan, are the reincarnations of two ancient dragons. Ao Ao is the reincarnation of the white-haired dragon Xuan Ye while Ryan is the reincarnation of the black-haired dragon Xiao Jifeng. Their previous selves Xuan Yue and Xiao Jifeng have something to do with some unseen ancient evil dragon that used to wreck havoc upon the world a long time ago, and who was the owner of the mystical dragon pearl (my guess is the unseen evil dragon was the black-haired Xiao Jifeng using the mystical pearl he had stolen from the white haired Xuan Ye, whom he had imprisoned and forced to become his lover). My other guess is Ao Ao's big brother is probably the reincarnation of some else who also lived during this time, who met AoAo and Ryan's previous selves and knew their connection to that unseen evil ancient dragon.

As a consequence of Xiao Jifeng stealing Xuan Ye's dragon pearl, when the white haired Xuan Ye reincarnated as AoAo he was born without the powers of a normal dragon, and that's why he can't grow up nor summon the elements etc etc. When the black haired Xiao Jifeng was reincarnated as Ryan, his memories of his past life stayed with him as an alternate personality that comes out only from time to time (either that, or Ryan's just been possessed by Xiao Jifeng, though Xiao Jifeng can only take over from time to time).

When AoAo was little, he found out he didn't have any of the powers that he should have had as the second dragon prince, so he left home to find a solution and one day found Ryan's mountain and met little Ryan (for the first time). The two became friends but AoAo had to go on travelling, so he left with the promise that he would come back. However, someone wasn't happy that Xuan Ye's reincarnation, AoAo, had me Xiao Jifeng's reincarnation, Ryan, again in this second lifetime, so this person erased AoAo's memories so that AoAo wouldn't go back to Ryan's mountain to fulfill his promise of getting back together with Ryan... And that's why Ao Ao doesn't remember having met Ryan before in this second lifetime, while Ryan does remember it, even if either of the two have yet to remember anything about their previous lives as Xuan Yue and Xiao Jifeng, respectively.

I know right. usually never cry. But damn the first 15 chapters..I cried so much!
