so hot. hwan is gorgeous. chiwoo is cute and makes a great uke. One thing, Without the sex, this could be a children's book. LOL. Those piggies and their little subplot are so silly. Still, I like this lots. The sex is so well done, positions, full body poses, varying perspectives, bodies well drawn. Too bad about the damned censorship. Uncensored it would kill humans. lol

I was so angry about the spoiler at the beginning of Chapter 17 that I couldn't even enjoy such a pivotal chapter. Wtf? If they JUST HAD TO put a stupid warning at the front of the chapter, they could have at least put "possible sexual violence." Instead they ruined the pleasure of reading about the events by telling exactly what events were about to take place - the very definition of a spoiler. I hate spoilers. Using a "trigger warning" as an excuse to spoil a story is so annoying. isn't it exactly what these trigger warnings are supposed to prevent - directly causing pain to a reader, causing someone to feel bad or feel traumatized? It doesn't even annoy me for myself, though it did send a lightning rod of anger up my spine, but I knew what was going to happen. It's the f'd up way this would ruin it for others. I hate it that someone who is supposed to be presenting this to the readers would spoil an important chapter like ch 17. sheesh

I doubt it was not knowing what would happen. For myself, I hate it being pointed out on the chapter where it will happen. That scene might have strung out over 2 or 3 chapters. I think it's better not to post spoilers. Ummm I doubt anyone missed the part where this entire manga is set in a prison... LOL

What do you mean "no proof"? There are plenty of studies asserting that CONTROLLED exposure to triggers can alleviate symptoms of PTSD, emphasis on the word controlled, as in the person knows what's coming and can prepare to face it. Uncontrolled or sudden exposure to triggers, however, do little to help and can cause a person with PTSD considerable adverse effects such as vomiting, dizziness, nausea and severe psychological distress. We can discuss the merits of TWs all day but claiming there's "no proof" they work is just a blatant lie. I'm saying this as someone with actual university level psychology education.

You must be joking. You don't even know if anyone is reading this shit has PTSD, yet you're determined to mind their business. WTH? What's in it for you? I'll tell you what. It's a big fat selfish virtue signal! You don't give a shit about ppl with PTSD. All you care about is taking the most fashionable stand on the matter.
I have "actual university level psychology education," too. If you don't think I know what a joke that is, you're sadly mistaken, college student who knows nothing.
If the PTSD is as severe as vomiting etc, they're going to know to avoid reading this stuff. They'll pay attention to tags. No one is going to go into reading adult material of this nature with all those ridiculously over-exaggerated symptoms. Soldiers with PTSD don't even have symptoms like those. You've really got a lot of nerve making claims without even the least citation.

Are you serious? I care about people with PTSD because I HAVE PTSD. Do you really think people with PTSD just stop reading adult material altogether? And I'm not a student, I graduated ages ago but thanks for all these nice assumptions about me. The TWs are there because these works are often translated chapter by chapter as they come out and as such, translators legitimately don't know whether a work will include rape down the line or not and as such, as they translate they add TWs to individual chapters as they come along. These works are often not translated with the idea that they're posted on sites like mangago that allow work-wide tags, most are meant to be shared on sites like Tumblr, Wordpress or on apps like Discord that don't have the same kind of tagging system as mangago. It's easier to add a panel that says "this chapter contains rape" than going back and editing every single entry for any specific manga to add the rape tag. People take those translations and post them on manga reading sites and don't remove those pages because it's considered rude. You're the one who has a lot of nerve, claiming I'm virtue signalling or don't care about people.

I didn't say they stopped. I said they'd look out for themselves if the ptsd was that severe.... unless they're a masochist ptsd weirdo. You say trigger warning, but they are spoilers, and posting them is a good reason to kill the asswipe who posts them.
Putting a spoiler at the front of a chapter is like telling everyone "here's where the love scene is" It's a spoiler, and it's inexcusable.
If you cared about people you'd learn to cope with the real world instead of always demanding that everyone in the world make special arrangements for your spoiled ass.
YOU are the one who made the claim that negated any need for a spoiler since the rape was obviously going to happen. You said that. not me

Again with these weird ass assumptions. I have PTSD but where exactly did I say that I'm triggered by rape? You keep accusing me of being this and that with zero proof. Are you really that pressed to get under my skin? You can keep insulting me if that makes you feel better, all that does is make you seem overemotional and, dare I say, triggered.
You tell me I'm spoiled yet you're the one saying putting a TW warrants murdering another person lmao.

No. Read it again. I'm saying, these translation groups often post these translations exclusively on Tumblr and similar sites. Then, people steal those translations and post them on manga reading sites like mangago. Translators don't like posting on manga reading sites because it puts them legally in a very difficult position since someone is essentially profiting off of their translation, which makes publishers all the more eager to hunt down these translators and get rid of them, via legal means if they have to. I have said nothing about my personal preference of reading platform and since I'm here on mangago, I think it's safe to say I prefer reading on manga reading sites. That has nothing to do with how translation groups operate and why they operate the way they do. Many explicitly prohibit posting their works on mangago because they're afraid of getting sued but people do anyway.

Nope. In older days, works of art in most countries went through a censorship board of some sort and most "morally dubious" works would never see the light of day. Since then, we have things like age ratings and disclaimers. You've never seen one of those 60s-90s TV shows that start with "This program contains explicit content that may upset more sensitive viewers. Viewer discretion is advised"? Or those "Explicit" labels on music CDs so people can shield themselves from naughty words? The world has always has systems in place to filter out or warn about certain content. What's changed is that nowadays there is the Internet where anyone can post anything without being restricted in anyway. If anything, NOT warning about rape in media is the anomaly and new invention.

here's a link to Miracle Miyuki, a story I wrote. hope you like it https://archiveofourown.org/works/20826425/chapters/49508135#workskin
hope you like it
this is written for kids probably. Children in their teens are still close to being little savages. They haven't experienced any trauma so this doesn't make them remember bad things that have happened to them.
are you commenting on the wrong story??? its explicit and for over 18s
no. I'm commenting on this story. Legs ... etc. that it's explicit doesn't seem to stop teens, and they skew the rating. This has a 9.5 rating, which proves that it doesn't matter to the complainers if there's rape as long as they like the story. I like rape in stories sometimes, so I don't rail against it like a hypocrite.
I’m not a kid and i rate it highly, no need to generalise. You’re confusing
I did not say that you were a child or that adults might also like it. Isn't that obvious? For me, I don't care for violence on this level. It's way too far over the top. It's gruesome, the uke looks like he's being hurt mentally, injured physically, and hating almost all of the sex. If the uke is hurting, I'm not liking it, crying, begging them to stop.
I mean, come on. Also, cutting off fingers is not my cup of tea, neither is putting out cigarettes on people during sex. the stuff I like is tame as a lamb in comparison, but people bitch about it constantly then come read this and rate it over the fukin moon and back. It's absurd.
I admire the artist's skill, though, and his ability to carry the reader through story smoothly. Both of those are high praise imo
and there's nothing wrong with generalization if it applies, and imo it applies, which is all that matters since it's my statement.
there’s literally no evidence to back your claim lol but ok
