Hands down this is the best scene in the story for me. Whenever I remembered this manhwa/novel the first thing that came to mind was always this scene (Callisto hugging crying Penelope). N seeing it drawn out makes me love it even more!! Reasons y this scene is the best for me.
1. Callisto hugging Penelope.
2. Penelope crying is pretty.
Jokes aside the reason I love it, worded better, is cuz its the first time Penelope completely expresses all her anxiety n pain in front of Callisto without trying to look strong or hide it, she also fully depends on him a lot more from this point on. N like I said, Callisto once again hugging her n comforting her. Like, I love them so much.
“Oh no, my sister/child worries me so much by trying to work too hard to fit in, let me physically n mentally abuse and neglect her to let her know she doesn’t need to do that instead of giving her reassuring words, support, and love like a normal family does to let her know that we care.” Yea, no, thats just a psychos excuse u brain dead assholes.

Bro brought this on himself by trying to “experiment” from the start lol. He cant be butt hurt ab’t the fact mc went to look for his soulmate when HE was the one who told him to do that. Even now, I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt cuz it seems like he got mad ab’t mc wanting to get away from him so bad, but who knows, even if that was true, he could still be trying another manipulation tactic, push n pull y’know? (My trust issues hate this man fr)
Not to mention he may know mc is his actual soulmate but, mc doesn’t, HE was the one who made mc think he has someone else as a soulmate by saying mc doesn’t have a name for his damn experiment. He was the one trying to pull all this manipulation bullshit by flirting with him n clinging to him like a damn octopus even when mc didn’t like him in the past, while making mc think he has someone else as a soulmate.
NO ONE in their right mind would be with u knowing u have someone else’s name engraved on u, that’s supposedly ur soulmate, n supposedly, once u meet u’ll be head over heels for them. No one would go into a relationship knowing, “ah this person has a soulmate that they’ll fall head over heels for, n they will prolly leave me once they meet them”. Unless they’re not serious, or a masochist in love who doesn’t care if they leave them in the end or want to be with them at least for a while.
I’m all on mc’s side till the end, I feel so bad for him. I have a feeling he’s gonna go after ml, but tbh I’d rather he not. Let ml come to him instead n give up all this experiment bullshit and just tell him the truth straight up. But like I said I dun think dats happening unfortunately.
