This was actually one of my favorites before… but I feel like by the end the author just said fuck it n wrapped it all up in a rush… there’s so many plot holes n loose ends not explained, I was expecting more of the ml’s character development n life goals n watnot after so much of the build up in the early chapters. We dunno wtf happened during the time skip, how he got away, how the boss dude was dealt with, we dun even know if his friend ever got to realize that ml wasn’t actually lying about his father being murdered by that guy, or that he tried to kill ml too. But after the relationship shattering fight they both had they suddenly seem to get along well enough to at least talk n greet each other now but we never see how they actually made up. We dunno who ml sent da cctv footage to (I’m assuming the land lord friend cuz who else? But they never mention it ever again). We never get to see ml open up more about his past to mc. N I feel like author just couldn’t bother with giving ml his character development that they were tryna build up to in earlier chapters, n just kept writing him as the same bratty ml. I have no problems with bratty characters but there’s a line… sure some of the problems have been covered n shown in the story but too many have been left open n unexplained to just be satisfied with that. If they weren’t gonna explore all that then why even write all the build up? It just rlly fell off…

Not every 2nd male lead though, since some r actually happy even without ending up with anyone, n I think Enoch is one I would’ve preferred single… anything over that ending… author decided to start the story with grooming, and ended the story with… pseudo grooming? Reverse grooming? Like the child is the one who does the… does it even count as grooming then? i dun even know bro… My brain turned off cuz I hate this so much lol. Enoch doesn’t remember he raised her like a child. Estelle’s deal with the goddess made it so he doesn’t remember. But its FUCKING WEIRD
I love this manhwa, it might not be for everyone. But the slow burn n character development was so good. But the Enoch n Estelle ending is like, the one thing I hate in this. Other than Kairos existing (his existence is meant to be hated on)
I cant even hate Enoch cuz he doesn’t remember, I cant hate Estelle who is still kind of a child n maybe doesn’t understand n has an unhealthy attachment to Enoch. But I sure can hate this fucked up situation, and the author for writing this fucked up situation in the first place….
