To be fair both didn't clearly state their expectations for this relationship, but then again, it would be weird to go around telling people what you want from creating a relationship with them out of the blue. But yeah I totally agree, do what you want with who you want so long as consent is your key word, there can be sex without love, love without sex, etc. and nobody else than yourself (and your partner(s) I guess) should care about your type of relationship
period. sex isn’t the defining factor of a relationship. you can have sex with or without one with whoever you want, how many times you want. that doesn’t make you a bad person. you’re not obligated to like the person back either. the only time i would say it’s kind of wrong is if you purposefully date someone you know likes you, purely for the sex and don’t take their feelings into account.
