I see a lot of comments saying it’s confusing, but it’s not. The only thing it really is, is a mid story. It’s not the best and not the worst. Some parts are interesting but then other parts fall flat.
For the most part you can see where the author was trying to write a cohesive story, and it does round out if you can read between the edges but it unarguably doesn’t fully pan out the way as a reader you’d want it to.
The FL felt weak, at times her character was flat, there was no drive to her and even when there was it felt like she did it for the sake of just doing it. She had no actual personality aside from “I’m the protagonist so I have to move as such.”
The ML felt like a damsel in distress without having a hero becuz I assure you the FL, despite being a hero, fucking sucked at being a “hero.”
What was the plot… I like to finish things to hate on them and this was one of them, cause listen BL is already known for its toxicity but man you took his dick away?
And ok that’s not even an issue as a whole, more power to him if that’s how he wants to live, but cmon man, can’t get any more whack.
Aside from that, the entire plot line just pissed me tf offffff. I’m not gonna spoil here - but My god, the only thing really was the backstory was decent, but it still doesn’t give any leeway to the rest of the story. It’s like whack as all hell still, it’s not just good.
Overall, just wasn’t worth it.
Ok first off I want to start saying - Oh god this was so cute! I loved everything about it! For the first time I thought, finally, a manga (cuz typically these r all manhwa) that has a decent story for a reincarnation villainess! And since it’s a manga I came in with my reservations but there was no weirdness! This was genuinely so fuckiingnsweet and I enjoyed the every loving hell out of it.
HOWEVER,
What was up with the sis complex thing at the end tho???? Like ;-; I might just hopefully be a misinterpretation but with the way the ML
was telling the FL she was still the same it concerned me, maybe he meant like that she was clueless as to how he was the same as the ML or about his sis complex, but who knows at this point. There was a comment a bit back that eased the worries a bit so if you have the same worries def reccomend you go back and read it!
I’ll come here with the none biased review of the story that doesn’t immediately bash a story for its gross misuse of triggering topics that all these stories tend to do.
Anyway, the FL is such a badass I’ll say it outright. I like how she’s not easy to back down, how she strives for her goals, she’s just an enjoyable character. She does falter a little to the rumors of her husband but let’s be real, he hasn’t particularly done anything to discredit them initially.
Another thing that is refreshing is the way she goes about building the relationships outside of the ML. Whether it’s with the garbage FiL or the G that is her uncle, or the way she stands strong against her ops.
The ML needs to get his shit in check really, some communication between them would go on long way but these stories don’t go that way typically.
It was a good read either way, 6/10.
In his defence it did say he was emotionally stupid and he HAS tried to get advice on what to do. His choice of advisors leaves something to be desired but he's not the most social.
He reflects on his behavior and tries to correct it. Yes he should talk more, but what's to say our FL wouldn't lie or "skirt" the truth to achieve her goals? She has proven that with using birth control " it wasn't specified in the contract", true but a half truth.
I think BOTH need to have an honest look at their relationship and feelings, but I highly doubt she's going far even if they do divorce, she likes the challenges that the family gives her and that she's loved and appreciated for who she is.

The fact Henry is the only normal one is pissing me off, that is ur baby sister and you were so protective of her until now? Suddenly it’s like, oh sorry can’t even protect u after getting kidnapped or u being bullied.
In glad that the dad is at the very least AT THE V LEAST mentioning how he’s worried about Albert taking the seat as head of the family cuz he’s whack as fuck.
I thought the kidnapping would really snap them tf outta it but I was wrong.
If you watched the anime, the kidnapping scene is WAYYYYY more frustrating and I was so f pissed off, all I could do was scream (╬￣皿￣)凸
Yeah, like when she came back to school missing an eye, he told her he will watch her suffer someday, like wtf?! No hello, what happened to you? Nothing? He is wishing to see his little sister suffer because she is better than them, skipped few grades, and is a lil bit arrogant?
This story is rly weird.
I at least hope this Liz is manipulating them with magic or something, if not then I hope their father will send them both to army or something and Henry will become his successor, because they are scum of the earth and they don't deserve to live a privileged life.

Honestly it would’ve been better if she put her on a reform program or some shit, it would’ve been funnier before she died of old age or some shit first and then returned to her world to live her life again.
But man she was a true hater, can’t blame her.

Like most people my complaint is on the brother, no mames, you have got to be kidding me. He has to be told off by his FL that leaving her with a prince who’s actively accosting her would make her idk… uncomfortable? Then he does so much stupid shit ALL YHE AU UP TO THE WEDDING?
He left her alone even on the fucking wedding day?!
Like I know he loves his friends and whatever friendship is magic, but MAN UR SISTER SUFFERED AND U COULD NOT EVEN BE THERE FOR HER WEDDING?

another completely minuscule gripe is the ML. NGL, it is fucking WEIRD that she was compared so much to her sister… like… let it go? Yes we as readers know they’re not the same and shit but the fact they’re drawn similarly and the fact they’re compared so often is just kinda… weird. It’s like the fact too her approached her cuz he was reminded of her that also kinda gives u the jibes.
But I’m real glad it wasn’t like a battle of the men and that there was one set love interest.
The emperor was so sweet and understanding (after the initial like 8 chapters) he’s like so good even if he nags her like a parent at times, but it’s so refreshing to see her struggle in a non useless way.
And by that I mean it’s not that she can’t do it, but there’s a reason she’s not doing it. She’s not physical stopped at the beginning and there’s nothing threatening her, so there’s no reason to push her and that’s also extremely refreshing.

This story was really good, sure the mystery could’ve been a bit more fleshed out with the reveal but overall, it keeps you hooked pretty well. There are some issues you run into which I can get into, but without digging too deeply into it this was really sweet and concise.
Seeing other comments it’s really shame they cut it short, this feels like it would’ve benefited from more like other long winded stories. It really didn’t overstay its welcome, at least in my opinion.
FL was a really enjoyable character. not particularly a strong headed boar head, but not a damsel in distress. She held strong in very VERY horrible situations (without spoilers, but if you know, you know) and of course was empathetic towards the prior fiancé and princess which was sweet to see.
the ML was nice as well, I liked how he treated the FL , the romance developed nicely and how he cared for her was sweet. SPOILERS
For me one of the major things that I enjoyed the most was that he was willing to leave everything behind to be with her, which isn’t something that you see often in these stories. Even then she still stayed, of course she became a queen,’but it was nice to see him willing to leave it all behind. It’s not like she was living the bad like back in Korea either.
