I actually read this a while back and yeah honestly, I hated the toilet scene it literally pmo so bad that when I saw this BL again my blood froze.
To begin with, it’s all about personal reading taste and this is something that CAN make or break the story for a lot of people.
It’s not about whether it was “right” or “wrong” becuz he’s single, but the TOP IS RIGHT - HES TOO EASILY INFLUENCED.
Listen, im not slut shaming him, but I am romance shaming him. (I know I know it’s BL, but I’m a firm romance believer - tho ig I shouldn’t have expected them to be the most romantic with a name like crack star)

It DID NOT need the bathroom scene, you could easily make the same damn fucking effect with the insinuation of it.
TO PUT IT SIMPLY - it feels like the readers are getting cucked with the damn top since we KNOW they’re gonna end up together.

I’m not particularly hateful of the “big turned slim” reads like others, but this one just doesn’t do it right or justice.
It’s already a pretty sensitive topic amongst a lot of people, they hate it fervently but like some of the stories r ok sometimes, sometimes they’re also badly written.
I think if u have to read some of it to be able to tw if you’re gonna like it cuz it basically stays pretty much the same the entire read.
Anyway, into the gripes.
I’ve read a lot of stories with ridiculous proportions but this one is on the extreme and it’s not like the author can’t do “normal” sizes, the bottom is big but not ridiculously big and the other characters r the same.
Also the bottom is a FUCKING DICK. It’s not the the top isn’t without his faults too - the semi stalking was weird and he did a variety of other things that were iffy at worse. Albeit he DOES GET BETTER BUT ITS NOT UNTIL ALMOST THE END??
Yes he comes to really like the top, but like I’ve also read many stories where the bottom/top are assholes to a virgin but like this one felt EXTRA targeted against the top for his virginity in both sex and relationships.
And somehow it’s always the virgins who act a lil more respectfully to the relationship than their partners.
Like bruh, he just started his fucking job and ur already hooting and hollering that he ain’t throwing a metaphorical bone at you.
Relax?
But really it’s not like he held a gun to the tops head so ig if u like to be bullied sometimes u do u.

There really isn’t much to say bout it other than there’s nothing inherently wrong with it.
Sincerely if you want an easy read with low stakes this is the right place - AND DONT TENSE UP, everyone is being genuine and no bs switch up at all so read at ease.
Now to delve deeper into it, they couldn’t have handled communication better in this story.
It was so refreshing to see them actually TALK and also realize when the “talk” wasn’t enough to suffice the problems they were having.
It made for an easy read and a quick one at that.
It’s like, the places where you felt like they needed to converse more is acknowledged and then later rectified.
It’s a BL, so there was some miscommunication, but it was solved so contently within the story.
it also pleasantly surprised me with the way it handled religion in both lights. From the homophobic to the supportive nature of the good people who hold the faith.
For ONCE we get religious parents who aren’t homophobic.
As for the leads themselves - super fucking green top.
Idk how tf he hasn’t had a relationship before but he’s like BAM I want it this way and that way, no shame and no hesitation. The last scene with his parents too was so nice to see, a characters who a softie by nature and stays soft even if it frustrated u cuz that mf def deserved a beating but the way the relenting trauma is portrayed was nice.
As for the bottom - super green. Even though there was a few places where he had weak points, his support system really shines through and there is no shame either in the fear he felt.
There was a lot he was putting at stake so each reaction was valid and his after contemplation that followed was great to see too.
It’s tough to live with that fear and homophobia isn’t just a slight obstacle, it’s genuinely dangerous so his worry wasn’t unfounded. I think it was great he was willing to try to slowly open his horizons with the top.
Side note: it surprises me to see how many ppl slut shame the used-to-be-top bottom. Not shaming anyone tho, I get it on a personal level and on a story level. It felt contradictory to his fear, but it’s within the community and closed essentially so him being ran through respectfully wasn’t the biggest thing. It is a plot point in the story, but not a glaring topic since the top is understanding.
And the side characters, by god it’s nice that there’s not one antagonistic asshole - mob doesn’t count cuz he ain’t even do shit.
So it’s so easy to like em even the side couple uke who gave sus vibes turned out to be the greatest friends they could have.
Overall super soft read.
Like, I get that ppl get desperate but jizzing on a bat? I’ve never seen a more porn plot device.
It was ok though, decent read and uncensored (which jarred me a bit) but not had.
The ML is fucking clinically insane, like an actual psychopath and the only way to REALLY know if you’re gonna enjoy this read is how much you like red flag tops.
I’ll warn anyway before anyone goes in - he’s a violent, selfish, dick who does assault the MC an array of times.
Now onto the actual review.
I liked it and sometimes you like trash and that’s ok.
The ML is like actually insane and you find out pretty quickly bout it in the beginning. You know something isn’t quite right bout him in the head.
The MC seems to be kind of a pushover but not really - he’s just exceptionally kind to a fault. Hes not an unbearable character in my opinion either, I liked him as a character too. Only someone like him would deal with someone like the ML.
The most compelling part of the story isn’t exactly hte romance either - it’s the MC’s compulsion and incapability to fully shoot the loaded gun and the ML who takes said metaphorical gun and goes crazy with it.
The way the ML loses it and the way he interacts with the MC and others is just… compelling? Idk but it makes for an interesting read.
There’s no NPC here as an obstacle, only the obsessive and possessive ML.
I wouldn’t say there’s high stakes in the story either you’re just kind of along for the ride of the MC dealing with the crazy ML.
They’re both so fucked you’re just sighing towards the end of the story and saying to yourself, fucking finally.
It was nice to see a story for once where the step mom isn’t a fucking monster or some shir. She genuinely wanted to connect with him and it was cute.
The story itself is very fast paced, slap stick comedy. It was good but don’t expect too much from it or anything to really be expanded on or touched upon.
You just kinda have to infer some things.
the ending felt very rushed even tho I feel like they could’ve just left it off with them studying away or some shit. But if it’s nice to know they got into college I suppose.
I’m almost caught up and I just had to vent - no matter how much guilt he feels over what he did to the omega, all the fucking shit he put him through is just too big to live and let die.
I feel like it’s easy to forget or just let it go becuz the omega does and the story progresses in a way that encapsulates his growth but…

Jesus Christ it’s hard to feel bad for him even by chapter 60ish, I think post backstory and stuff, even then becuz you just think bout alllllll thenfucked up shit he did and ALMOST did to the omega and it’s like, woo if it wasn’t for the slight themes of purity / virginity / ownership then he would’ve let the omega go through that in that one scene with all those ppl huh?
And consequently every thing he did before and AFTER STILL linger - so really even if u have a shred of knowledge of why he’s like that, it’s like you were a horrible garbage ass excuse of a person.
And that’s not even to account for the fact his change just doesn’t even make sense? Like all of a sudden BAM He’s in love BAM he’s changing BAM he sees the omega as a person.
Like what HAPPENED? Did I miss something? Kid you not, the obsession between the leads like red Mansion make more sense then the switch up here.
HE HAS SUCH A STRONG IDEAL THAT OMEGAS ARE OBJECTS AND PROPERTY. SOCIETY IN THIS WORLD HAS SUCH A STRONG DEHUMANIZATION OF OMEGAS - so his switch up is just SOOO random?
Maybe, maybe if u dig real deep u can take some contextual clues and pull them out to make it into a cohesive reason - maybe he wanted to be loved all along and hid it before his genuine demon disguise - and it still doesn’t give any good reason to switch up the way he did post confession.
And ok POST season 2 - it’s like he’s an entirely reformed, post recovery, post therapy, post rehab character. It’s like great for your mental state long run sure, but it’s also like HOW HOW DIDNTHIS HAPPEN? R u gonna tell me he was always like this? Fuckijg lies. I just don’t get it.
It’s like ok ok I’m reading this as much as I can with an open mind and yes change is always possible, even for the worst of people, but I just can’t fathom how quickly he changed.
It’s not even about the pace of it, it’s just one minute he’s a dick and then next he’s not.
The entire time he’s always flipped flopped on how he treated the omega sure, but not like that? He’d toss a bone here and there and then get possessive, but one minutes he’s giving the bare minimum and the next he’s like WHOA WHAT A TIME TO HE ALIVE AND LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE. LOVE ME. OH I DONT WANNA HURT U. SAD. DEPRESSION.
WIFE GONE. MISS WIFE. REGRET.
and he’s suddenly a better man than he’s ever been. Not even his back story really makes sense into his change it’s just infuriating to read it all in one sitting really.
Maybe if I had more time in between to stew on the change like the weeks it took for the story to come out, yeah, then ig I’d be like oh he’s changing how greatttt. But no I’m reading it in one go and it really feels like night and day.
Sincently though it’s then enjoyable to read. It gives u such whiplash from the binge read when the alpha changes. Still again, my gripe is that the beginning was just SO FUCKING STRONG, that it’s almost impossible to read without thinking bout it at least a few times. I’m glad he changes and the story doesn’t stay harsh.
I just hope it sticks to the fact he’s going to have to repent for what he did more than just a happy ending with the babies, but we’ll see.
NOW this is all to say it’s a decent (?) story, it’s doing its job of getting u hooked with its plot, but Christ all mighty, I had to say a prayer too every fucking chapter.
Gurl I feel each and every ounce of what you just said. I def also went through that roller coaster of emotions cause of how fucked up the plot was. For me tho he’s definitely not a redeemable character considering what he did, but for what it’s worth, i’m at leasts a bit happy that he did regret and tried to repent for what he did cause it was def fucked up.
The suicide was the cherry on top. I hope all horrible people like him go through that kind of guilt.

i love love how detailed what you said was and i agree with you in everything it was a tough one to read for me the alpha is unforgivable and always a piece of shit but the plot got enjoyable by the end. but guess why.. CUZ WHAT WAS GOING AT FIRST WAS FUCKING DARK ANYTHING NICE ADDED TO THIS PLOT IS GONNA MAKE IT ENJOYABLE . and im here for it although i have my grip on the past and never will be over it omg no matter what the alpha does for the omega and his kids in the future ( cant wait for the twins (づ￣ ³￣)づ )
Upon further consideration I really do give this story a 3/5 and it’s purely based on my own criteria cuz it’s a good story, it is but I’m just not vibing with some elements to it.

I just really think that fight in the side stories PMO too much. It’s like we already went through the bottoms past basically the beginning of the story (prior sleeping around a lot) and when the ex came back, but it was SO COMPELLING so I couldn’t even be mad about the ex since it showed the bottom’s growth.
But then that fight they have in the side stories just IRKED the fuck outta me. It wasn’t even about the Top’s jealous in that case, it was about how the bottom reacted to it and how it’s handled. I feel like it was an easy apology that should’ve been done just better becuz it’s the Top’s FIRST relationship and having ur partner 1. Get jealous over something trivial (sitting by others and laughing while he’s letting hands of a prior hook up on him) and 2. Shout at u about how r u not more jealous he’s talking to a guy he used to fuck - IS JUST TOO WILD
And THE FACT THE TOP APOLOGIZED FIRST.

you’d see a lot of disparities between their relationship dynamic due to the experience.
HOWEVER, I DO THINK THE TOP DOES A GREAT JOB AT BEING A GREAT PARTNER.
Throughout the entire story he’s understanding, compassionate, and a caring lover.
But like the experience thing is still something you have to be capable of navigating with ur partner, and it was OK for the main story but the fight just seemed so childish from the bottoms part (since again, tops first relationship and HE VOICES HIS DISCOMFORT AND INSECURITY OVER HIS PAST RELATIONSHIPS) and it made the story in my eyes take a hit.
Yes it ends cutely, yes they go through the motions but it’s just not done well enough for me to be like - “ok yeah this is good” - it just lead to very hot sex ;;; which yum, but also damn, I guess we fix it with a bandaid huh.
