Trauma emotionally stunts people. This is a woman that was forced to be grown when she was still a child herself. For the first time in her life she's allowed to be delicate and not tough it out. She is allowed to be the young woman that was denied to her by life's circumstances. For once she's not taking care of others but being taken care of. Your opinion screams lack of critical thinking skills and empathy.
