is this really a matter of preference if what happened in this chapter and the chapters before is literally inhumane and a crime? ppl are "making an issue" of this bc they dont wanna see shit like this being made anymore, using literal SA and abuse (and a lot of it at that) as a plot device. people have valid reason to hate on it.

do you consider SA and rape to be 'little things'? additionally, everyone is entitled to their own opinion—if someone dislikes something, that is their right. this platform has a comment section for a reason. if you prefer not to receive or read comments or criticism on a certain topic, how about you contact the admins or moderators to request that the comments be disabled? ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

I get that some people's moral compass might be stronger in the sense of not being able to read or enjoy certain themes, that's totally fine, but u can't try to shit on others preferences (some people like darker stories!).
it's obviously up to you whether u read it or not, but the more u engage w this type of stories, the more they'll keep coming.

REAL people read this and might be influenced to do the exact same thing in real life which is, if you dont already know, BAD. a lot of people and most especially MINORS on the internet might read this and think that its okay to do to others, so it just sets a bad example. not to mention, this is disrespectful to real victims of SA and abuse.

dont ever use that excuse again, bc fiction is made by people FOR other people to consume. theyre not real, yeah, but wtvr happens in the story can VERY MUCH happen in real life.

i get that some like darker stories, and this is definitely under that, but you gotta understand why readers dislike this story. you can continue to read it, but you have to acknowledge that the SA and abuse portrayed in this story is a wrong thing.

its exactly why people say rape is worse than murder, and its not just based on morals when law has stated that it is a crime. defending it, even if its just "pixels on a screen" is incredibly harmful.

being passive aggressive doesn't help, if u want to spread awareness do it right and where people might not only take u seriously but also be willing to listen to u.
here on mangago people are already aware of what they're reading (and nowadays there's even content warning at the start of each chapter). we don't need no fancop to try and police what's right and what's wrong on literal fiction!

Im not understanding well either but if im not wrong. Basically wikileaks contained all the dirty secrets on powerful ppl including taeha's family. So the dad thought he could threatened taeha's fam with the secret when he kidnapped him but didnt expect for taeha to be abandoned. So kwon taeha is the devil MC's father mentioned bcs he said he will execute his revenge on MC (since he is the kidnapper's son) no matter what. So bcs of the threat at the end of the video and his trust got betrayed (bcs taeha didnt fulfilled MC's expectation). Mc now is scared as hell and wanted to run away from taeha and tried to make a deal with aeil.

what I'm confused on is why is he suddenly scared? ofc taeha said he would take revenge bt how does that make the mc feel betrayed????

Well cos Taeha kinda swore he will take revenge on the kidnapper’s son, which is the MC. Just think about how MC feels if it were you: A person approach you, then you trust the person and work together with him, only to find out that person is determined to take violent revenge on you no matter what because of your father’s sin. It’s crazy if you still trust his smiley face after seeing the evidence.

Hawoon asked Taeha directly on ch52 but Taeha said no, cos he wouldn’t gain anything by taking revenge on Hawoon, then Taeha convinced Hawoon that all he want is Wikileaks. That’s what Hawoon believes ever since.
