This is one of my all time favorites. Despite how dark the subject matter is, the fact that these two get a happy ending is amazing. And they're both just GENUINELY good people stuck in shitty situations beyond their will. God, this is just incredible. Their love is so damn pure
This story continuously puts me in a bad mood. it's not even that I don't enjoy the author's work. The characters are so realistically crappy, and even worse I know I've met people like them before. It feels very real and reminds me that awful people exist in the world and will always exist.
I really just want Yeonduk to be happy. Skylar also needs to be away from his emotionally and physically abusive mother so he can recover and become a decent person while he still has a chance.
And this last chapter with Skylar's mom talking about his ADHD like a disease! Holy hell I'm so angry esp bc some of my closest friends in life have had ADHD. Dammit. I need to go cool down with regular cute stuff
