i can't stomach things like these...
There's only so much i can tolerate and this isn't one of them...

Y'all could've chosen to ignore "my opinion" but ya really want to bash me for reading this and then commenting how i feel about it. For your information, I read all 39+ chapter not because i support pedophilia but because i liked the artstyle. I have enough common sense to know that I shouldn't read this manga if i can't stomach things like this. But I simply read on because everything else besides the main couple was doable for me and i wanted to know more about the side characters. I JUST REALLY LIKED THE DOGS OK.

Just read the fucking novel. The slap was justified. I mean Ianna believed he was trying to buy her loyalty with that much gold. She's not a fucking mind reader. Also, how would you feel if someone bought you for a lot of money without explaining beforehand but instead drags you out into another place. You would be suspicious of why the person as rushing so much to get them away from the scene.

Apparently Cale is growing weaker as the novel goes on. He's coughing up blood when doing any tedious task. Everybody that knows Cale in the novel worries a lot about him and want to stop him. But they let Cale do those things cuz only he can do them, but ofc with limits since they don't want him to die. From what i can remember, i think it's from the side effects from some power. Cale grows out his hair, but his body is much skinnier and he's more pale. Also Cale uses a cane to get around now.
GRANDPA CALE NOOOOO
Not entirely true. Yes Cale pukes up blood and gets weaker as the story goes on but he always gets better in the end. There is no actual physical harm to his body he is only lazy, that is the reason why he gets weaker. As for what is happening in the novel.

Cale had just recently used a power that gave him paper cuts all over his body and he overused his ancient powers(yes he collects more ancient powers.), these powers are what are called plates. These plates hold the powers that reside in the soul. So when Cale overuses his ancient powers, his plate starts to crack and he starts to cough up blood. Recently he needed to heal himself and so the vitality of the heart was used, but he was also using other ancient powers causing his plate to melt. He survives with the help of a dragon.
