The mom was not kicked out. From my memory, she and the dad was bf and gf. She got pregnant and the dad went to the capital to his family but got in to a car accident that left in a coma or sth along that line for like 10 years and from that he lost a lot of memories. In the meantime, the grandma went to the mom and secretly take the son to the capital ( in fact the mom didn't even know she has another kid ). After the dad woke up, he went to see the mom secretly and saw the fake daughter, took her DNA for a paternity test, obviously she won't match with the dad. So, he just assumed that the mom cheated. Even though, she gave birth to twins???
