It feels like I haven’t started from the beginning but middle of the story barely any explanation for why he’s strong or has all this knowledge. So kind of confusing.
Well, if you thought of those small flashbacks its not really that hard to think about? they got suddenly transported, got a system, confuse and didn't know what to do, it was Mc who step up first about no matter what they need money to live first, parties are formed and separated, live their own lives and adventures, and time skip after that. 3 years in the other world is long enough to learn various knowledge of that world. And a clue of Mc's Earth life, if you see Mr. Kim's stuffs he brought out, there was a mag with Dr. Kang's face on it. I guess Dr. Kang is a famous doctor on earth that's why he call MC as Doc.
- jayu girl u need to speak up, it took her way too long to explain he wasn’t tryna rob her
- jaehyeok and sohee as much as I love yall please let’s calm down and be civilised inside voices
- never in my life will I raise my kid in east Asia cuz unless ur going to an international school, people there will always treat u like a spectacle even if ur half Asian. And being treated like a spectacle is fun for like a holiday but ur entire childhood not so much

On chapter 6 and the MC has done nothing there’s basically been no focus on the MC and him adapting to his new situation. Just been basically a history lesson without diving into details making it very boring and trans isn’t that good either. The 9.5 score is baffling to say the least…
if anything, i actually give props to the translators — they explain the concepts quite well, and i actually learn a lot of new things regarding their current organization/setting.
but to answer your question, personally yes it does get better. if you're a fan of historical dramas like dong yi, this will surely hit your spot
