i live in san diego. the water is hard with minerals. I used to live in san francisco where the water is soft. When I go back to san francisco, i can feel the difference, especially when I wash my hair.
I think soft water is better when it comes to your skin and household cleaning since you don't get the built up from minerals like you do with hard water. But I think it's not that good for drinking cuz it has more sodium... Where I live we have hard water, and I felt the difference when I went to NY since they have soft water.
i prefer soft water. it tastes better and is more pure. hard water tastes salty. It's a must to filter hard water because of the amount of minerals. Hard water builds up in fixtures and such. If one doesn't clean them, it will eventual mess up the fixtures. I mean you get used to it and live with either one as you adjust to it but again, I prefer soft water.
Yeah. I live in Asia but I've been to England before. The water is so different! If you look into the water from England, you can see tiny little bits and those are mineral remains. In Asia, the water is clearer and the texture of the water is also quite different!
