this truly breaks my heart. i fucking hate the count with every fiber of my being he’s the devil and no one can change my mind. i can’t believe he has the audacity to say that his severe negligence was a simple mistake and that she always seemed healthy when she’s on her deathbed because of him. like karina said she was very young when she painted her parents, so she was probably 10 or younger, and that’s when her health started to decline. no matter how you slice it, how could any parent not notice their child literally dying in front of their eyes for 10 years? i guess it doesn’t apply since he would spare her a glance long enough to see anything anyways. the unmitigated gall this man has to talk about his daughter being a burden or unfilial is astounding. it’s a level of delusion i can’t even begin to understand. how is she unfilial when she spent her whole fucking life devoting herself to others while getting absolutely nothing in return. time after time, chance after chance, he persistently denies that his daughter may in fact be telling the truth about her illness, though she has never lied before, because he himself failed to recognize what was right in front of him. he unfailingly shows what a vile, wretched, ignominious, despicable, revolting sack of FLAMING TRASH OF A MAN he is. he can kick rocks with open toed shoes. he can sleep on a pillow that is warm on both sides. he can hit his funny bone on every surface within 20 ft. he can get food poisoning and spent a week curled up on the bathroom floor puking his guts out. he can injure each part of his legs just enough to never take a step without pain while doctors deny any issues like he denied his own daughter’s illness and pain. he can get dysentery and die a slow painful death. he could get pneumonia and drown in his own lungs as he feels them fail, unable to do anything but listen to the awful gurgling sound of his own feeble attempts to take a breath, grasping desperately onto life, and it still would be what he deserves. i can only hope that he will one day rot in the pits of hell where he belongs.

i previously made a comment about this a little over a month ago but these comments got me irritated as hell and im seriously beginning to think some of y’all lack reading comprehension, so i’ll say it once again: STOP BLAMING YEJUN FOR THIS SITUATION! he’s trying his best and it’s not fair to say that he is a damsel in distress who could leave this situation but isn’t strong enough to do so. he chose the better of two evils. this was a conversation had in the BEGINNING. do-yoon laid TWO OPTIONS out for yejun- marry him and get medical care for siyeon and to retain custody of him, or not marry him and try to continue to pay for siyeon’s treatment only to eventually lose custody of siyeon when do-yoon’s family takes him away using their connections and resources. obviously yejun would chose the option where he wouldn’t LOSE HIS ONLY CHILD when it’s available, especially in a high-stress situation. do-yoon used a common tactic in domestically abusive relationships by leveraging a child against a partner to coerce them into staying with him.
yejun was manipulated into feeling he had no choice but to accept do-yoon’s proposal. do-yoon spared no mention of EXPERIMENTATION ON SIYEON so yejun previously had no motivation to risk losing siyeon fully by attempting to run with him as he didn’t believe siyeon would be in put in danger, in fact thought the opposite, if he chose this option. now that this is revealed, even with its questionable validity, yejun now has a motive to risk running with siyeon and likely will.
in conclusion, I DONT WANNA HEAR SHIT FROM Y’ALL ABOUT YEJUN BEING PATHETIC AND HELPLESS SO HELP ME GOD I WILL SMITE THEE IF I SEE THAT VICTIM-BLAMING IGNORANT BULLSHIT

i’ve seen a lot of comments saying that yejun is childish/pathetic for not leaving do-yoon and i think that those statements are incredibly tone-death. genuinely what do you expect yejun to do when he was quite literally coerced into this relationship? do-yoon himself said that if yejun tried to run they’d take siyeon away from him. yejun was already struggling financially to take care of siyeon with his illness and it’s not realistic to expect him to try to run from do-yoon who has an infinite amount of resources in comparison to yejun. he’s trying to do what’s best for his kid and do-yoon has intentionally manufactured this situation where yejun is in no position to refuse/leave him. it’s the same thing as blaming a DV victim for not leaving and the whole notion is very victim-blamey.

Nah bc this whole last conversation really bugs me.
