I cried at the end of the chapter.Jaeshin risked his life to protect Lee Nok and a few minutes later his brothers come that Lee Nok will die today.

Okay it's kinda long and I only understood some of it. So, basically Jaeshin finds out the bitch queen has been up to shit. And so he puts this cursed object in her palace. But then it's weird because there's two things that end up in her palace. And a servant of hers ends up getting locked up because she took the blame for someone else by planting a fake? I'm honestly confused about this part. So Nok is told by his Eunach that he shouldn't go see her or else he would put himself and many others in danger if the Emperor finds out. Anyway, Nok ask Jaeshin if he could help cover for him by distracting the guards. Nok goes to see her and she's a dear friend of his and she's sad because she had people she's taking care of and now they're gonna go hungry without her. She gets exiled and ends up dying.... Or do they say because Nok later finds out by his friend that her death was suspicious.
So Nok is extremely sad and when he talks to Jaeshin the day it's their time to be intimate, JS tries to comfort him saying there was nothing he could have done.... Tough thing here is Jaeshin's brothers just told JS that Nok is destined to die soon and that he should find another human to love him. Jaeshin is honestly very upset by this, but after it he tries to comfort Nok, but the prince calls him heartless and insensitive.
So Jaeshin gets hurt because he's been doing things Nok's way but he still runs away (I think emotionally too.) He still is viewed as a horrible person in Nok's eyes.
Nok realizes he fucked up and says he will sleep with him. But then JS gets more mad because that's not what he's there for. He was there trying to comfort Nok but Nok thinks that's all he wants.
Anyway, now Nok is questioning his feelings and talks to his buddy (forgot his name) and thanks him. Jaeshin is outside overhearing their conversation and gets butt hurt when Nok thanks his friend lol. "I'm the one that did everything. Why are you thanking him?"
Now the last thing is Nok's friend told Nok to plan a wedding ceremony. I think it's cause the Emperor told him prepare to get married. It cut that scene but that's my guess based on Nok and his dad's convo outside, but the emperor told him to go inside and talk.
Damn that does sound complicated but I get the overall vibe. hopefully nok's unavoidable destiny is not death!
