Ok so how snek shedding works, is the sneko will start to be a bit lethargic and refuse food, then it will produce an enzyme will start separating the top layer of skin (that will be shed) from the rest of the body, and it makes the snake have a dull color.
Because snakes don't have lids, they also have a scale on their eyes so when the enzyme gets there, the snake will get temporary vision impaired and the eye will have a blue hue - that's why people say the snake is 'in blue'
After that, the snake will start shedding and will usually also be quite hungry. The new skin will be shiny and smooth and sometimes even iridescent. Small injuries and scars will also be healed with the new skin or reduced in their size.
Fun fact: snakes shade in one big piece, like rolling out of a stocking, lizards shed in pieces, like a flakey PJ. Unless the humidity is low, then both will struggle with their shed and even have stuck skin that can be problematic
So let's all hope our boi is just shedding :D

Another fun fact: when in blue the snake feels vulnerable because of the vision impairment so it will usually hide and be more defensive during that time - for snake keepers that usually means no touchy of the sneko during that time.
The in blue phase usually only lasts for a few days, them after the snake regains usual colors it will shed a day or two later :B

Another fun fact: did you know that snakes have tiny feet? Well, not really, they have what is called spurs and those are tiny claws around their butthole :D Spurs are what is evolutionary left from what should have been legs (you can see it on their skeleton!) and snekos sometimes use them to stimulate their partner and lock with them during mating :B
