I definitely recommend you reason 'The myth of sisyphus' by Albert Camus

I just took a myth class so I’m gonna go all out for you:
A brief description of the mythology behind the story is that Sisyphus was the human king of Corinth, and he was known for his trickery. Also, most not all Greek gods are pretty sexual and promiscuous, so one day Zeus the god abducts Aegina the river nymph and is captivated by her beauty. Now, first what happened is Sisyphus tells of Zeus’ abduction of Aegina, so by this point he has incurred the gods wrath and hatred.

Then, at the Sisyphus Kings time of death, he trapped death in chains and prevented himself and all others from dying for a period of time, everyone on earth was immortal until death was freed.

Next, when Sisyphus “died” again, he tricked Persephone, the wife of Hades, to send him back. There is also another version where he purposely has his wife not put coins on his eyes on his death bed so he is unable to pay the fair for the river stix and returned to the land of the living again. So he cheated death twice and thus, Zeus has more than reason to punish him and Zeus hated the fact that Sisyphus thought he could outsmart him.

So his punishment for all eternity was to roll a massive boulder up a hill and each time he got close to the top, the boulder would fall to the bottom of the hill again. This punishment doomed the former king of Corinth Sisyphus to endless frustration and day after never ending day of pointless efforts.

P.S. the word Sysyphean is from this myth and refers to a pointless and never ending task.

Wow, after writing this, I’m more confused on how the myth connects to this story, that is besides the setting having a boulder of course and I hope there isn’t a time loop or anything, and the other obvious reason this myth was chosen could be that Guwon is already dead and had “cheated” death and I’m thinking he is the Sisyphus of the story. But hey, maybe not? It might be teach ?

I just remember the time Guwon said he needs to protect the town no matter what, and his neck, and feet was like he was just put together, I feel like he was back from the dead, this one is like Sisyphus who was got back from the dead, and as you say Sisyphus is a king and so like Guwon he is a leader or a boss in the town, what I don't understand is why the people of the town seems afraid of Guwon when Guwon save them and continuesly protecting them, and Guwon said he can't sleep because what if someone broke the rules? And I remember the rules is just that "Rule no. 1: Do not lock the door" why not the door? Aish, this just got me thinking hahahaha, I hope this one has novels hahaha yhanks fpr the brief myth of Sisyphus though

The story is definitely getting interesting, I feel like things will be revealed soon. What to you think will happen to the discovered rat? I think Guwon might have a dark side but hoping not because it is getting very cute and hot. Well let’s See where this story goes!
