The closest I know is Guardian Tales, but it doesn’t have character customizations. Unfortunately, MMORPG likes these are rare. There’s also Dragon Raja, I haven’t played the game for a long time but I do remember there’s some kind of co-op experience. These 2 games both share guilds, battles etc.

Black desert is sort of still going but it has all sorts of issues T-T and I've heard it's hard to get into as a newbie (?) (I dropped it a long time ago)
I know final fantasy xiv is sort of like that but it has a monthly subscription... supposedly the demo version is pretty good to try out .
underated game but similar to this is tree of savior, games are VERY similar and cute chibi characters (customizable)
go with the og which these comics are based off, maplestory (however it is grindy, and the fanbase is mostly korea now, not much in the west sadly)
