I was going to read this until I started the first chapter and there's a scene where the MC says "Wow... My first time seeing a fish..."
Is this a joke? The MC is an intern. Interns aren't going into their internships without any training. Someone going into zoology would absolutely have seen fish before, well before they start their internships. Also, this is a grown man living in Korea. Korea is a peninsula and well-known for their seafood. There's fish everywhere.

it's a mistranslation, i think the previous translator took the original sentence quite literally and the words came out like that. i checked the raws & the mc is supposed to say "Wow... a fish I'm seeing for the first time. (which refers to the kind of species)"
but they mistranslated it as "Wow... my first time seeing a fish."

The whole point of me not wanting to read something with such an unbelievable and stupid translation is that I don't want to read something with such a unbelievable and stupid translation. Stop telling me it's a mistranslation. I understand what it is.
I don't care that it's a mistranslation. It shows that the translator is putting zero effort into this and has no understanding of Korea and Korean culture or English.
I don't want to read something that's terribly translated. I wish the translator good luck and I hope they continue to grow their skills.

This chapter really pushed my suspension of disbelief to the max. This man went 3 hours away to the second biggest city in the country to go into hiding? No, that's not how this works. He's talking about how it's been forever since he's seen him but it's clearly been like two days. He's in a hotel, his pregnancy hasn't progressed at all.
I know that the author wants to get back to the dramatic stuff but you have to pay some attention to these details.

A good soldier follows orders. He keeps thinking to himself that he's going to make this big difference in the war and that he's going to prove himself. In wartime if you don't follow orders you are usually put to death as a traitor. Deserters are also put to death.
I do not believe that this idiot is a top students in the military academy lol

I need to know what happened before the story started. I'm pretty sure that creepy brunette dude did something terrible like betray our cute MC and it was all a setup... But I want to know!
This author is doing such an amazing job of building tension and keeping me engaged in the mystery. A lot of times I just get annoyed if a mystery drags on too long but I'm fully in.

Keith, sweetheart, if you're in love with your rapist I understand. Stockholm syndrome is a real bitch. But if you're in for a penny, you're in for a pound. You have to stop with this half Henry half rapist nonsense. Pick one or the other.

You're reading way too much into what I'm saying. It's not that deep bro.
He absolutely has a choice when it comes to helping with Henry's investigation. He can just not hack the computer and say he couldn't. He can just not get the safe code and say he couldn't. What are they going to do? Put him in prison, lol.
You're assigning helplessness to this character that doesn't exist. He's helpless in other ways. There's nothing you can do to stop his rapist from raping him. He can't stop Henry raping it either, if Henry wants to rape him. But not cooperating with an investigation is incredibly easy. Just do nothing.
This isn't my thing, but I'm very glad to finally see a yaoi that's honest about its piss kink. Most modern yaoi include a pissing or three but they disguise them as "squirting", but men cannot squirt. Men just pee themselves.
Women squirting is also almost entirely pee, but men's squirting is entirely pee. There's no almost for men lol.
