I'm sorry but if a child approaches you the only thing you do is ask where their parents are. You don't sit there and have a flirty date dinner with them. You ask them where their parents are. If they don't answer you go find another adults, like a server or a manager at the restaurant, and you ask them where this child's parents are.
That's it, that's the interaction that adults should have with children without their parents present.
Of course their exceptions for teachers or people in positions of authority, like police or whatever. Random adults should not be having intimate interactions with children without their parents presents.

the first thing he did do was ask where his dad was and he said that he came in his dads place bc of an emergency call so id assume his dad sent him bc he couldnt make it. i qgree that he couldve just cancelled the dinner but it probably wouldve been awkward to just leave his benefactors son bc he was there to thank them for saving the grandma.
also mc is on good terms w his father and is acquainted w him so he isnt just a random adult and even tho its SO obvious, mc doesnt clock that he is flirty at all towards him so mc did not think it was an intimate interaction, just an awkward and uncomfy situation he had to go through
sorry if i misread your comment i do agree that the situation was weird but i dont think mc was as in the wrong if we look from his pov (even tho its dumb)

He's last year in high school in korea so he's like 20 and mc is in his early 20s (23 tops). who would act like that to someone only few years younger than them And why would 20 yo need parent to accompany them. Yeah sure it's kinda weird dating vise but let's not act like you're mentally an infant when you're 20.

No hes not. In Korea depending on what type of school u went for ur 17-18 or 18-19. Ur not gonna be 20 or 23 in highschool unless u got held back or dropped out and went back into school. And given hes smart hes probably 18 rn. But yeah the MC is like early 20 so its not a huge age gap and the MC has zero interest so their interaction isn't weird on his part.

Korean ages are a year ahead of our. If someone in a manhwa says they are 18 you need to subtract one, they're actually 17. They just count ages differently over there. You can Google it if you don't believe me.
That's why you see Korean smart labeled as 19 plus, not 18 plus.
Also it is incredibly weird for a college student to talk to a high schooler. College kids have no interest in hanging out with high school children. You're sitting here talking about "it's not a huge age gap" but it is a huge experience gap.
Luckily, the MC is better educated about childhood development than you and isn't interested in children.

Tf u mean "our" im literally in korea. Girl im literally just explaining korean ages and that hes still a child. Like i was literally on your side use for eyes and actually fucking read. Ngl u sound dumb asf trying to argue im into kids or some shit as if Im not literally telling explaining why hes still a literal highschooler and the other one is a whole college student. And its not a huge age gap especially not in korean culture. Dude it literally in his last year abt to go to college so no its not weird there talking to each other but yea it'd be weird to be talking with flirtatious interest. Thats literally what im explaining. Get a fucking grip and stop embarrassing urself cz not only are you insanely off. But I wasnt even talking to you and I was backing up ur claim.

God, both of these men are so stupid and bad at being adults. If either one of them just talked to the other none of this would have happened. Even their second life would have been better if they just stopped and talked to each other.
They both have completely valid reasons for being so withdrawn but that doesn't change the fact that it's stupid, lol. An important part of being an adult is learning to overcome your circumstances.

How can any of you read this cocomics nonsense? Half the pages are blurred out so they can't even be read. I hate cocomics so much.

read it here instead, the translation quality is much better https://mangatoto.com/title/197372-oil-on-canvas
"When my boyfriend shows up to my apartment suddenly without warning and he has to wait on me because I'm not home he lashes out and punishes me with sexual violence." Nothing to see here folks, just your average yaoi manhwa lol
the worst part is that this is the general description we usually get from the villain in uke's tragic past... but here this is ML's description ╥﹏╥
