I really love DDjun's sarcasm, she's soooo funny. Btw wanna talk about how SWEET AND CUTE are XiaXia and XiaoYi?! "I Have eyes only for you"..aaaaahrgghhhhh I wanna them together right now (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ I'm pretty curious tho about the "important" thing the girl urges to do...umh...maybe she kinda wants to be a Cupido for LiHuan and YuYang? XD
Can't wait for next update coz LiHuan was interrupted and I want them to have a serious talk. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Sangwoo could have grown up as a normal, happy, well educated child but no. His mom was so mentally ill and depressed that she ruined her kid's whole adolescence and life. Not only Sangwoo's but also her husband's. And we all know how first years of children are important in the process of developing their mental and emotional system. That's so sad because shit like that happens in real life and I have to admit that Koogi depicted this kind of situation very very well. People like Sangwoo's mom need accurate therapy in order not only to overcome mental disorders but also not to ruin other's people life. Same goes for Bum ofc.
Btw don't wanna start a fight, that's just my opinion so don't be too harsh to me xD Have a nice sunday all of u guys!

FINALLY! Good to see someone actually realizes Woo suffered too. People seem to be blind to that.

I want to see her reasons though. Koogi isn't doing a great job this season in my opinion, especially with Sangwoo's past, it seems she's retconning season 1 and she's improvising from week to week. In chapter 40 we have seen the father beating her and now she's the only evil one of the situation, we still don't know the father's secrets she mentions, his relationship with Sangwoo beside that only panel in which he hugged him. Did Sangwoo hate him because he was manipulated by his mother? Who is the abuser shown in chapter 40, who beats her wife up in fron of their son? Why Sangwoo told Bum a memory about them eating at the small table ( the same one he forced Bum to eat at)? There are too many inconsistencies and she is recycling the same panels again and again with details that don't add anything to the story and to characters. We all knew Sangwoo wasn't born a killer and the reasons where in an abusive childhood. A lot of serial killers both in real life and in fiction had a similar past. I would have been more interested in how he developed his narcissistic personality that made his character interesting in the previous season than seeing his crazy mother being evil for the sake of it.
I'm not attacking you and what you said, I mostly agree with you, it's just my opinion about this mess of a season

There is highly chance that the whole abussive father trope was only Sangwoo's delusions which were created by his mother. When she tried to strangled him with the pillow and his father hugged him in Sangwoo's eyes he saw his mother on her knees, crying, submissive and pathetic in a way. Maybe it was a start of his delusions that it was his mother who was abused.
I'm myslef not a big fan of unreliable narration because suddenly author can do whatever they want. Because everything could be just delusional, dream, hallucinations. Etc.

You may be right but this scene is pretty unmistakable as abuse, no matter the reasons the father's reaction is wrong (plus, sangwoo is old enough to understand it, diferently from the scene he was smothered by a pillowe because he was a toddler and he was mostly unconscious)

as for the small table, i hate it because it really existed in season 1, it has been a catalyst for the first "bonding" scene between Bum and Sangwoo ( a situation initated by Sangwoo) and now it's like it never happened. Too many inconsistencies
And same about unreliable narrator, it's a narrative technique that over-used like in this season may be detrimental to the story, I hope I'm wrong but I feel she changed her initial plans for her story and it will ruin it on the long-term

But theoretically as I said these scenes may not be the truth...or maybe it was in fact someonr else?
I dont know it's hard to believe that his father who was pictured as someone sweet and caring in last chapters suddenly become abussive bestard (even if it was the results of his wife abnormal behavior and cheating).
It's only temporary, right? Right? Because I can't handle so much angst...its too much. Sumi wasn't in heat so maybe there's a little hope that mark will fade away, right? Someone please give me more hope. I'm begging you. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
omg i really hope with all my heart that you are right
