The way I love this webtoon!! The last few panels scream misunderstanding once again :)) I'm sure poor Deon is so scared that he's prepared to die and simply wishes to defeat one monster before that happens. But I'm sure the guy following him will believe he's without fear and a monster fighter to have so much confidence in his skills. The legend of Demon Arut or the Hero of The Empire Deon will only become even more legendary like this
Maybe I am the only one but I really enjoy seeing Seth powerful again. I know it's only temporary but having so much power suits him so well. I wanna see him dominate the battlefields again and people being scared of his power and respect him again. He is and should be a mighty god not a toy for humans. Also I wanna see Seth kicking Foreign God's ass. Someone needs to put him in his place cause right now he's showing zero respect for Seth and treating him like a mere weak slave and that doesn't sit right with me

This story has such good situational comedy, that it never fails to make me laugh. The misunderstandings are always hilarious and move the plot forward very swiftly.
Although this has such good comedy the plot and everything the MC had to go through are well-written and heartbreaking. This is for sure a drama too and I can't help but feel angered and saddened at the unfortunate situation Deon is in. He never deserved such a tragic and miserable life, all he did was be born with an unusual eye and hair color but that was enough to trigger all the devastating events in his life.
I absolutely dread how he had to go through so much misery from an early age, got so much trauma and mental problems from being on the battlefield since he was a child. How he was allowed to believe in a lie about his parents and ended up killing them just because it was beneficial for the emperor. How he got forced into being a double agent for the two realms and constantly under danger and assassination threats from all sides. All this while being born with a sick body and lacking direct affection from his parents. Oh and people are scared of him, the revolution army is after his ass
And the reason he had such a disastrous and miserable fate? It's such an angering reason... his whole life was messed up because of a stupid bet. I wish the worst upon all the characters honestly. The duke who randomly sacrificed Deon's life and offered it up on a silver platter for a stupid debt and who continues to torment the MC with assassination attempts because he didn't perish as he expected and became a problem. The Emperor who has been hiding the truth about his family and the duke's involvement because he benefits from using him as a weapon of destruction. And lastly the Demon King who simply views Deon as entertainment, as a plaything he can discard once he gets bored of him and of the silent game of chess with Deon as a prize he has been playing with the Emporer.
The only good thing seems to be the adoration the demons and his people have for him for now, although it causes him major anxiety. Besides this people are scared of him, his reputation is horrible, the revolutionary army is also after his ass... Yeah only bad things. I wish Deon could escape all these lunatics and have a happy ending and I know I will be shattered if that doesn't happen.

Honestly, I enjoy reading this but sometimes I wanna get through the screen and talk some sense into Dan. There's zero romantic development between him and Jaekyung besides fucking (and I find it hard to believe that played any role because mostly it was just traumatic for Dan and not pleasant).. Just a few chapters ago he got verbally abused, screamed at, and got a drink spilled on his head. And with two words from JK "he is one of my own" suddenly he forgets all the humiliation and is in love. And I bet JK should consider him as one of his men by now. Dan has been working for him for a while. Plus what was he supposed to answer? "No I don't know this dude clearly he's not from my staff" Like be real Dan JK is not all that please have some self respect
Idk I wanna see Jaekyung obsessed with Dan, desperate and in shambles over him and not the other way around. This chapter was hot but i almost threw my laptop when Dan confessed
JK does indeed need a doctor.. for his mental state and anger management issues. I think he will definitely lose this match and then take his anger on Doc Dan. Then yadayada they break this whole thing off cause Dan is super hurt. JK realises he can't go on without dan, that there's more to life than just winning yadaydada and we get a half ass apology and they get back together cause uke here gets moved by every little irrelevant thing ugh
