I haven’t checked the latest chapters but last I checked the manhua was following the novel pretty closely. So just in case there may be some spoilers if they’re not in the manhua yet:

So since I read some from the novel, in my opinion he still treated the mc far better than the ml. Despite the whole brainwashing, kidnapping, caging bit- they all led him to be at a peaceful state than he had ever been in a while. Kidnapping when he needed to get away from that falcon dude was a basically a favor. Brainwashing which helped to temporarily get rid of the painful memories the falcon dude gave him. Don’t really remember what the cage was for other than not leaving.

Other than that, afterwards the mc was allowed to roam free within the house. Got to work out and train like he wanted and the spider got him new weights he wanted. Comforted him, and mc also enjoyed the company of the spider’s cute baby bro. Gland hunters appeared and the mc was able to kill them all and spider was just in awe. It was pretty chill after that. The spider wasn’t gonna take his glands or anything. But more so wanted to make him his partner due to the glands, like a nice match and he liked how powerful Uke was. Anyways the spider really didn’t put up a fight for the Uke with the falcon during a dangerous event. He had to choose to help the Uke or save his baby bro- and the choice was obvious. Which I actually liked since it shows he wasn’t fully a bad guy who was selfish. He had his caring side towards his brother.

Most people aren’t bothering to talk about the spider simply cause the falcon is worse and if it weren’t for him- the mc would still be under the clutches of the falcon.

crazy bcs no matter how i see the situation, there were no grey area in both alphas. or maybe i was hoping the bunny will end up neither of the two but to the brown guy (forgot what kind he was )

btw can u spoil me if it was indeed a fake pregnancy? the manhwa were all over the place (ig bcs of the tl were sometimes off and didn't read the latest uds) and I'm still confused if he's indeed preg or not

He isn’t pregnant. The spider faked the “you’re pregnant” report to basically show the mc how the falcon/ml will react. Basically showing his true colors (even though he been doing bad stuff). It was bad the spider did that but it only just helped push the mc to realize that the ml is really ruthless no matter what even with his assumption and immediately hurting him for his own misunderstanding. All the spider had to do was give a fake report and the ml ruined everything himself. ML knew it wasn’t an actual pregnancy, and wasn’t mad at the mc for that. He was just mad by the thought that the mc was with the lion. And took his anger out on the mc by being rough and pushing his stomach instead of just asking him.
