Basically crumpets are a type of food eaten with sweet or savory toppings. They are commonly eaten with salted butter or jam and are quite often eaten in the UK. The reason I thought it was a fear of crumpets was because crumpets are round and filled with little holes that look kind of like some of the images of trypophobia. You might want to look at an image of a crumpet to understand what it looks like.
