as sejin have said, he felt like he's drifting. again: he doesn't have anyone. not ido, not his "family", no one. when you're like that, you become so passive that it eats you up overtime. when you're so used to being alone and showing a facade for other people, you start to get used to it and don't realize (or even refuse to acknowledge) that's there's something wrong with you and you start to ignore the red flags in the situation you're in bc you think it's what you deserve. that's one of the things that depression does to you.
telling someone who was severely abused from childhood to "go to therapy or some shit" is such a callous mindset towards victims.
