bro bullshit he didn't even clarify when FL trying to find out if the girl his mistress or if he love the other girl? No one in their right mind will leave that alone and make their partner think they having an affair like bro really doesn't deserve her. The way I see it she was just in that marriage because she was the only one that was in love she should have moved on from his useless ass

To me it seems like both just weren't great at communicating. Maybe he thought she hated him too, especially after what he said at their wedding.

It sucks that it's the misunderstood trope tho i don't hate/blame him ans his actions like you do, as I understand with the way he has been characterised that is a very reasonable way for him to act. He told her he'd never love her at their wedding, and suddenly he'd say he loves her? Anyone would find that absurd. At least to me his reaction immediately read as someone frustrated at not being able to say what they want (ie. clear up the misunderstanding) as again, they weren't close.

But grahhhhh still, man,, I just want more to see their current romance unfold and for Charlotte to allow herself to be happy too

Yep I know, I think it's pretty clear from the get-go. I figured afterwards he likely got to know her somewhat or something similar, and before he realised it, he had fallen for her.
