Knowing manhwa, she's definitely going to be at least a love interest, if not THE love interest. The backstory we've been getting, the "character development" the sudden revelation brought my Raon... It's all raising romance flags, and I'm not liking it. She's abrasive, rude, and has like no redeeming qualities. I also don't like how the mother invited her in. I really do like this manhwa, but if she's even a love interest, let alone endgame, I'm dropping the series.

read about 300 chapters of a properly translated novel (on reaper scans website) and the next 100 via mtl. she IS NOT (and no other female/male character) a love interest. there's like next to zero romance in the novel so far
she does get a lot more character development (in a good way) tho. highly recommend the novel tho, many details are lost due to the layout of manhwas

np (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ. I actually only checked out the novel bc I needed to see if there's a harem or nah
I seriously recommend reading the novel though. for example, the battle between Martha and Raon was much more detailed explaining how Martha fights and exactly how Raon overpowered her. it's probably gonna continue like this since manhwa layouts unfortunately have this issue ╥﹏╥

It's just so GRRR STUPID I get that they're girls and in Manhwa they're always sexy and cool and stuff but seriouslythere was no reason for such short skirts. Long skirts are a thing! or even pants under the skirt!!! this is just making it more dangerous for themand I know it's a fantasy manhwa but it still makes me so angry

Actually for once I'm kinda thankful for that, it's not too alluring and it helps to differentiate their genders, I keep getting confused on which one of them is a guy or a girl, and it's not like the females are showing their stomach or boobs or anything unlike most manhwas/mangas, so personally I think it fits them really well, nice to look at too

Wait sorry, I didn't read your comment properly, I thought you meant why the females are wearing skirts at all, you have a point actually, they could wear pants underneath their skirts or wear long skirts too, maybe it's because it's easier to just wear short skirts? Maybe wearing long skirts limits their movement? Or wearing pants underneath makes them feel too hot or something.....

Skirts don't really get hot because the air gets under them easily. If the male elves can get pants, so can the female elves. Also, regarding your previous comment, it's a safety hazard for the girls since so much skin is exposed. And long skirts are pretty easy to move in. And the gender of the elves isn't important anyway, they're all there to fight. who cares if the girls are indiscernible from the guys?

Like I said before, at least their skirt isn't that exposed, honestly it's better than most mangas/manhwas outfit for the females, like hell, the ones I've seen the females are literally wearing a bikini disguised as an armour which is definitely more BS if you ask me, so compared to this, this one is basically much more amd for the differentiate between genders part that I mention, well maybe and I said *MAYBE* in some situation, that part may be important, idk how but there could be one and that uniform isn't just for fighting, it's for representing our MC's army, so there's that
surprisingly one of the most impactful comics I've read here. I really do cheer for Haru, and cry when she dies. It's such a deep dive into the psychology of a barely-adult woman thrust into a world where she has nothing- making do with what she has. It's funny, sad, and above all- very real. Haru feels realistic, she has realistic coping mechanisms and thoughts and feelings.
