Dear goodness, this story is soo freaking good that it triggered my addictive and obsessive streak and I ended up reading the translated chapters available for the novel.
SPOILERS:
I must say, I love the beautiful art of the webtoon but of course the novel is more detailed. And though I really dislike the Emperor, I somehow felt a little, just an itty bitty amount of sympathy for him towards the latter chapters. He was not completely thinking using only his d*ick. He was smart and wary of his concubine but his plans are just so frustrating and I can't help but feel a little bit of sad cause I know that he will suffer and there will be no happiness for him in the end because of his rash decisions.
Can you tell me where did you finde the translated chapters? I can't waitt
I also feel a bit bad for the emperor ngl, and I feel so bad about feeling bad for him because of how he treated the empress. I am so confused about my feelings.

OMG same. I feel so conflicted cause the moment he brought Rashta in the palace, he let the Empress be humiliated but after reading the available chapters this tiny seed of sympathy for him started taking root. BTW, what do you think of the novel's cover photo? Don't you think there's a clue there with qho she will end up with? Cause if it's indicative of the future, looks like it will be an emotional and anboying ride. Haha
Haven't read the novel yet but I don't know, I have a "feeling" that he truly loves the empress but because she is so distance from him he tries to make her jealous or something, using trash etc...

At first I was so pissed at him, but when I read the novel and some spoilers I felt sad. He was rash about his decisions and that took away the love of his life, I mean he kind of deserved but still... Yeah I think he'll end up with Heinley, it's a bit impossible for her and Sovieshu to get back together.
I'm sure I'll be dropping this manhwa sooner or later

Yes, you are correct at some degree because the Emperor is still enamored also at some degree plus having a baby with that trash who shall not be named. But he do have feelings for the Empress as can be seen on upcoming chapters. What kind of feelings were they, love or whatever, you decide for yourself.
I'm also bracing myself for much heartaches because of future twists but yeah I might just take a break from this as well if it gets too much. TBH i don't like feeling pity for characters that are supposed to be villains. LOl

I do hope she really ends up with Heinley in the finalé, I can't seem to find an ending spoiler and I'm really so desperate to know. That novel cover worried me cause when I looked at it, though she was facing Heinley, her whole body is facing the Emperor and in fact cradling his head on her lap. I hope it's not indicative of how this ended on the novel.
I really hope so too. Regarding about pitying characters that are supposed to be antagonists, I too don't want to pity them. I have a LOT of dropped manhwa's because of the fact that I pity the antagonists, I feel like they deserve a second chance.
I'll be sure to read the ending tho, just not chapters that will break my heart, like when they get divorce. （￣へ￣）
Heinley obviously deserves Navier, the only ending that I can ask for the emperor is that he'll find a happy ending with someone else, not rashta tho.
Rashta can go to hell for all I care. Coveting someone else's partner is so disgusting. She deserves no one.

That was so good tbh. The story was so good for me that I was on my toes all throughout reading this. It kept me suspicious if they were still trying to outsmart each other or are they being honest already. I was waiting for a betrayal and then bam true love. Oh and the smut scenes, caliente. These 2 just went to the list of my hottest and sexiest couples in yaoi. And I also really loved the artwork. So beautiful.
