It wasn't a dream. I'm thinking, based on the previous chapter, he died and his soul is being preserved in a dream state now. I think...
I don't think it was dream. From what went down in the last chapter, and I'm basing this off of what the Cat spirt said, Dojin's world and Yooguk are in different universes. Dojin has been been to Yooguk many times before, in different timelines because everytime that Dojin would die, Yellow Dragon would use his power to turn back time so that they could meet again. However, with Yellow Dragon not being a true God, and him turning back time so often (i think is was the 46th time he'd done it?) he's drained his energy and can no longer turn back time.
That being said, I think because Dojin is originally from a different world his soul returned to that plane of existence to continue its life there. The cat spirit insinuated something like that. She definitely made it clear that if Yellow Dragon tried to keep Dojin with him after he died, his soul would die. So like maybe rebirth is a thing in this story?
But basically, it wasn't a dream. More like parallel realities with different timelines (of maybe not. Cuz 3 months sounds like the amount of time he would've spent in Yooguk). But like, I'm still out here waiting for that happy ending we were promised!! Don't think I haven't forgotten about Dojin saying that sum chapters ago. Their story deserves one after do long!!!
When he had the accident in this world, his soul travelled to yooguk but his real body remained in his world. All the attempts on his life would have destroyed his soul but YD created an alt reality where his soul could heal while YD would experience death in his place...dreams within dreams. Remember YD labyrinth was created from his imagination.
