It has many similarities..... a gangsta guy being injured in an alley...the MC follows a cat leading them to the guy.....the MC treats the guy's wounds....etc
O M G! I thought the exact same thing. "Usagi Otoko Tora Otoko" is my top 3 favorite yaoi of all time, so I know that story like the back of my hand!
This isn't so bad though. Honestly I had this weird feeling for years of what it be if it wasn't a yaoi.

I'm glad she hooked up with the snake guy, he was very gentlemanly & protective toward her, attending to all her needs without complaining once.. Unlike the leopard guy who once got mad and called her "entitled" when she asked for rice!! Not to mention threatening her to keep her looks down due to his selfish insecure ass! On the other hand, the snake guy encouraged her to embrace her beauty, and swore to protect her from unwanted male attention instead of demanding her to minimize her looks to avoid unwanted male attention.
