I think what makes him so annoying is the fact that we don’t know his motives or why he loves the FL so much. The story starts with him obsessed with her and 58 chapters later we still have no idea why
Honestly I don't thought it would be interesting at first but surprisingly I kinda like it tho I feel it's something same what you expect from revenge manga but plot and character are really good
