It’s more like people thought he was one of those ‘Righteous Villains’ types but he’s just full on villain and people can’t take it. This whole story is super fucked, but they’ve toned it down a TON from the novel. There’s no remorse, no shame or guilt for what he does, just a slow and calm descent into hell, where our MC lines the path meticulously so everyone thinks they’re walking to heaven while instead they’re stepping on rotten bodies that look like flowers and when they make it to the end it isn’t a light of salvation but the glow of boiling blood.

In that right, what do you mean? I know Andrim (dk how to spell it bare with me) is getting his way and it's looking up for him. The same goes for Juliette, she most likely won't be sacrificed to the dragon and Marie and Nasha will have their fates go downhill from here.

So when you say "everyone thinks they're walking to heaven while instead they're stepping on rotten bodies that look like flowers and when they make it to the end it isn't a light of salvation but the glow of boiling blood", that means that the "villains" (putting that term loosely, because I side with them and like them, idc about morals or whatever), are turning the world upside down on its head and making the heroines believe they're secretly evil when in reality they're just being heavily gaslit? And with the decisions they're making afterwards, just causing more harm than the good they're expecting?

Or what is it you're describing here? I know I'll probably understand it in due time with the new chapters slowly being released but I'm curious to understand the whole premise of this manga. It's okay to spoil it, I'm fine with it.
