This was honestly so much better than Light and Shadow. Of course I like Eli & Edna's story but the art, the storytelling, pacing, spotlight on each character, showcasing relationships are all better in this one.
I loved that Edna is as powerful as ever. Her loyal subjects like Kian touched my heart in both stories. The admiration and the relationship between Edna and her son was beautiful as well. I liked how Alex and Yessica's relationship developed. I liked how soft and wise Eli has become. I also liked how all the characters had their moments. I would have liked more family bonding moments though —with the whole family, Cayden and his wife included.
The only thing I guess I was troubled with was probably the fact that Yessica decided to be the queen of her country. It's nothing wrong, of course. But she and Alex would have to stay away from each other for a really long periods of time, not to mention how busy they both would be. I can't help but think that she could have found another better solution. It somehow seemed kinda forced to make her the queen.

I was so excited to see YJH's expression the whole past week and I wasn't disappointed (≧∀≦)
I couldn't help but squeal and giggle like when I first read that part in the webnovel
I just love how expressive YJH is in this arc. It's surprising, yes? Well, you're in for a nice treat, manhwa readers. XD
I get the gist of it but it has become more confusing after Wang Yi entered the current world and started recovering his memories. ( ̄∇ ̄")
There's a lot going on now. They're talking about their past, developing their relationship and progressing the current plot all the same time. I'm starting to get tired making sense of the story.
Honestly, same. Like just a couple of chapters ago i thought i understood most of the story, but now there's just too much new information to wrap my mind around it
