They were under attack because of Qiyu. They want to kill Qiyu at the first place but loulan kingdom become scapegoat since Qiyu was in the country atm. When they retreat to his country, they were in love again.
Liqing forget his mission to saves xingxu. It was too late for xingxu when they arrive. Xingxu died in tragedy. My beautiful man died horribly in fire and his country wiped out. Think it carefully, his mistake only "love liqing'' but liqing at the end still choose to be with Qiyu. After all xingxu did to him.. this is the ending the author give us? Who should we blame here? Of course qiyu and liqing. Liqing is also not innocent. He's selfish! I wish it's him to die not xingxu. After all xingxu really don't deserve this.
