I love this story, one of my favs.. but I just wanna say Hestia reminds me of a tiny dog and when she gets mad she's all grr bark bark grrrrr and needs calmed down

I think it's hilarious that the "human has octopus boyfriend" situation is what convinced the other two that they could be lovers (￣∇￣")

I thought this would be a cute and simple story at first. But as it progresses, I am shocked by how much depth there is to it. Not much to the world building itself, but there are a lot of mysteries, fascinating characters, and complex emotions. It's also less romantic than I expected, which is actually a good thing to me. Loving it and I can't wait to see where it goes.

It's really just great. The art the characters the music references just everything

Couple things I love that I want to mention

- ML has a curse that actually makes sense as a curse. I've read a lot of stupid manga where the ML is "cursed" with something honestly pretty lame & easily hidden from others. The ML of this story has a curse that is actually capable of interfering with his daily life and self image, so I like it. It's interesting. I like that more than the other cUrSeS I've seen.

- while others have complained about this, I actually like the way the FL seems to be putting off her death and is really trying to avoid thinking about it for as long as possible. I think it's actually pretty accurate to human nature. "I'll worry about it later, I just want to indulge right now" kind of mindset. She has been told her whole life that she is worthless so she also doesn't seem to understand just how much people will miss her when she's gone. The debates about her character don't interest me much because in my mind, it's totally acceptable to have a morally complex character who does both good and harmful things. She is both selfless and selfish, and that, to me, is a fitting depiction of how humans really are. She's not too perfect, and she's not too cruel, so I like her character.

- realistic depictions of intimacy issues from the ML are enjoyable to me. As someone with childhood trauma I think a lot of his behaviors are rooted in realty. A lot of manga use the trope of a ML pushing away the female "for her own good" but this ML wants to do the opposite and it seems to scare him. His fear of her leaving him is the very thing that drives him to involuntarily keep her at arm's length sometimes - he seems afraid of his own desires and of intimacy itself because being so close to another person is unfamiliar to him. Anyway I like that this story made him a little more complex than a lot of other stories and his growth has been interesting. I look forward to seeing him lose his mind when he finds out she is "dying" lol ヾ(☆▽☆)

When they first introduced Bella, I kind of thought she didn't seem that bad. She just seemed a little clueless to me. Like she just blindly agrees with her mom but has nothing against the FL. I'm really glad to see that she actually does want the FL to stay safe. It seems like they are both victims to insane adults in this circumstance. They both deserve a better environment

As a coffee enjoyer, I'm loving this manhwa, even if the author hasn't bothered to make very complex characters. They're still enjoyable and pleasant and it's a more simple, relaxing read... Something perfect to enjoy with a cup of coffee (▰˘◡˘▰)
