Yeah. I feel like the manhua really downplays all the elements of the novel that I liked. I remember feeling scared for Desharow and being creeped out by Agares. He is supposed to be intimidating and scary. But here, he's like a misunderstood puppy. I preferred it when the story was more like a thriller horror.
