This was a cool read. The ending felt abrupt to me however because there were so many issues which felt unresolved. The psycho side of the male lead Shin's personality was used to lure readers to be invested in the beginning. The contrast between his pycho, aggressive stalker side & his seemingly kind side was an interesting mix. Would've been cool to see it explored more, because later on, all his danger is forgotten. I'm questioning how he even learned to do violent or all the crazy stalker habits as well considering we saw his upbringing. The mc May had his own emotional issues which were awknowledged in the story. It seems from never being loved as a child, May will love who ever loves him. This feels like a delicate dynamic for a relationship because we already say May reject Shin several times because of this. But nothing was ever done about an issue that big so it feels like he's falling in love with Shin for the wrong reasons making the relationship feel more toxic & more like Stockholm. It's a shame that so much energy was invested in showing the boyfriend's character ( forgot his name), especially since he was obviously the healthier choice. It's a shame the last time we see him is unclimatic. He deserves a good send off. We don't even know what becomes of May's relationship to his helpful friend. Since the story pointed out Shin's sexual immaturity, I was hoping there would be more

-ahh cut off- ..more instances where he awakens to his sexuality. Where he slowly goes from being uninterested in sex, like in the very beginning, to becoming utterly seduced by May. That's what I thought would happen from looking at the photos Would have loved to see more instances of his weird, violent behavior, not with May but in the story in general. Cuz if you're going to introduce such outrageous character behavior, you gotta commit since it's too crazy to just ignore. His psycho behavior could've been the climax, May's friends somehow save him, May is disillusioned , he gets therapy, boyfriend guy is there for it all & puts up with May's problems, May realizes he was "the one" after all, May becomes a healthier person & lives happily ever after with his boyfriend & kind friend after all that crazy ass struggle, the end. I thought there was alot of potential. Still enjoyed it. It was a fun read!

But that would have felt kind of cliched

Not much of anything. Just a few pages before it gets abruptly cut off.
Has a feel from era of the late 90s or early 2000s. Adolescent boy is girl crazy but one night has a dream of his lady friend who he does not like at all. Cheesy dialogue. Awkward shots. Drawing are from a cute era~

Reading this was like when someone is very clearly telling you something in another language. None of it made sense to me, but I definitely felt symbolism. Cryptic & creative. REALLY spectacular art, I really wish I could draw like that. So much attention to detail combined with whimsical patterns!

The Seme is such a LOSER!! & I can't take him seriously trying to be scary when he looks like such a candyass.

So that was a really unpleasant ride. It feels like one awful event after the other without anything pleasant in between. I didn't enjoy it, but it was also still cool & dynamic! Definitely got alot of surprise in me & I was still really invested. It was a creative, complicated story. I came here specifically to read something fucked up & that's exactly what I got. I hate all the characters except the abused high schooler who tried to kill himself. I just want him to be happy Everyone else was fucked in their own way. Taehyun was super chismoso, it got on my nerves cuz it makes no sense for him to want to be so involved in other people's affairs.
Everyone was fucked up, story was tragic & creative!

I honestly had a really good time reading this. I really enjoyed it. The part I thought was the most interesting was the whole arc with the stalker tied to the chair. I felt it revealed interesting psychology for both characters.
There are still questions left over. I guess it's not necessary, but I'd like to know how they even met, why the stalker was moving apartments, how was the living state of his old one? Why did he decided to start stalking people, how long has he been at it, & what kind of life drove him to become that? Maybe all those unhanded questions are what keep a mysterious feeling.
In addition, the translation was difficult to understand at certain times. I also feel there is a chapter missing between 11 & 12 when they introduce the co-worker who tries to help the mc, only to get threatened. He's thrown in there so abruptly.
Those elements added confusion, but other than that, it was a great read.

Right I was confused about that random coworker introduction too... turns out there was a skipped chapter between 11 & 12 (i.e.: the epilogue should be the 36th chapter). Spoilers for the missing chapter follow (I dunno how to upload here)...

Basically, it's about the "field project" (business trip) that Hyunsung took on, at the end of chapter 11.

It starts off with Hyunsung (HS) trying to find his way to the office building he was sent to. He accidentally bumps into a guy (G) on the street; a second later, after exchanging sorries, G stops him to return a handkerchief HS had dropped.

HS eventually makes it to his destination, and finds out that G works there. Their exchange here seems friendly enough. There is another scene where G "accidentally" bumps into HS again, and laughs it off. This happens several more times, with G keeping it pretty light-hearted. At this point, HS is a bit annoyed.

Finally, it shows HS in line at a cafe, where G is right behind him. G cheerily tells HS, "You like yogurt right Hyunsung? Maybe I'll try one." HS is understandably a bit skeeved, and wonders how G knows so much about him... if G is actually his stalker? HS then laments that he's become over-sensitive.

They are now back in the office, and HS is busy with some paperwork. G playfully scares him ("boo", shoulder grab), and a shocked HS asks him what's up. G invites him out for some tea.

Scene cut to a cafe, where they are sitting in a booth with drinks. G says that he's sure HS is surprised about how he knows so much about him. He reveals that HS's "friend" came by and asked him to "look out" for HS, and told him all of HS's likes/dislikes. Apparently G did not believe that "friend" was for real, since it's a bit weird for someone to ask something like that of a colleague (no less a colleague on a business trip). G was surprised when everything the "friend" told him about HS turned out to be true: food preferences, habits, penchant for coming to work with hair sticking up (lol). So G initially told himself that this was probably just an old friend who's a bit protective; now that he sees HS's off reaction to this info though, something seems not quite right. G asks HS who the guy is, and if he's after him for money or something.

HS reveals that he is the object of a stalker's obsession.

Dude, thank you so much for sharing the missing chapter this way.
Storywise, it doesn't make sense to me why the stalker would ask this random ass colleague to look out for him and tell him all this descriptive information. The connection with the stalker and the co-worker doesn't make sense to me.

No problem, it was bugging me too, haha.

I know, it was a plethora of plot holes... like first of all, how did the stalker even know who worked at the company HS had to travel to? How did he know this guy wouldn't be weirded out by him, and derail his whole plan? It was also a big coincidence that the guy himself was quite iffy, with the beer/soju switch (speaking of that, how did HS not taste the difference or notice the color change?)

Anyway, long story short: I agree, lots of things didn't make sense

    Fraiser May 1, 2020 7:17 am

Yeah, I really wish we could see from the stalker's point of view on HOW he even goes about tracking this information or carrying out his plans. At least just a little so it doesn't all seem nonsensical. Either way, thank you for filling me in!

I'm crying. It's 1 am & I just finished it. It's a masterpiece. There are so many things I want to talk about which the story did amazingly, but all I want to ask, is how can anyone make something so beautiful, poetic & loving? The fact that someone can create something so kind & genuine gives me so much hope for life. I don't know the words to convey how much this makes me feel. I love this with all my heart.

Fraiser April 21, 2020 2:19 am

Oh my god, what a shitstorm. Woohyun is truly a horrible character. He acts like a cold bitch, disrespects both guys with the cheating and can't decide his feelings.

I have no idea how this will end or how i want it to end. I don't think he is mature enough to end up with anyone at that moment in time. I hope him and Seok-il aren't end game. Seol-il deserves someone who is sure of their love and Woohyun shouldn't settle for someone just because they've been together for a long time. While dating, he did not even like his partner. That's not love!

But yeah, in all, entertaining story. I felt charmed by both love interests, despite his Hyung encouraging the cheating but I'm a sucker for short haired brunettes who fix cars (⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄). I definitely didn't like the main character but i guess he had to be unlikable for story about two-timing to happen.

Awwwww this manhwa is si depressing for me. Poor, poor Hyungdo. Those scenes during the two years showing him beat up & being prostituted were so saaadddd

Fraiser April 15, 2020 7:15 am

Aaahhh I love scum bag characters like Maa-kun. They're quite outrageous & entertaining to watch to a certain extent. His personality makes me very interested to know how their relationship could shape up. I like how the MC's reactions were mostly realistic.
