Violence both psychological and psychical is wrong (also no matter what gender victim/abuser is). Being angry doesn't equal being aggressive, you can be angry and don't resolve to violence. Normal adults can get angry without yelling at their partner and grabbing and tossing them. Also he wasn't really mad at her because of money or love, but because she hurt his pride as a man and that's a misogyny flowing out of him. He is rich so it's not like him waiting for her to give him back the money for the wedding preparations will make him suffer or make any difference from his current well being, and he also cheated on her.
