holy shit this plot literally goes a million miles per hour- everything just happened so fast; each time i clicked the next chapter with twist after twist i was like "SLOW THE FUCK DOWN WTH IS HAPPENING" - in turn, the characters weren't developed properly, and i dont feel any sort of connection with the characters at all.
too much shit happened, like each chapter kept introducing a new plot line (i especially hated how they crammed in the introduction of kasusa's back story and the new subplot of the dude taking a picture of the mc and brother at the end of chapter five when there was only two chapters left; maybe this is more of a personal issue, but it felt crammed).
and of course theres the classic issue of lazy, cheap writing of using rape to get the characters together, but at this point im assuming the author wrote it for the sake of fanservice (because s e x) so im not even gonna bother developing my criticism for this issue
maybe if the manga was broken into two volumes then maybe it wouldnt feel like too much and the story could have been developed better.
but lets be real, this story wasnt created for the sake of a good plot, it was created for fanservice so whatever i guess lol ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I see your point about rape being use way too much in yaois. It feels like yaoi authors are fixated on some aspects such as tsundere ukes, forcefull semes(including love rivals), « its so good im gonna die », ukes being pushover, every girls trying to seduce a good looking man even if he married, ukes losing all strenght when someone is touching their bodies with sexual intention, and ofc the oversensitive asses and nipples. I probably forgot some but these are the ones i find most annoying.
Overall they are just making ukes super weak(physically and mentally), ashamed/lack of confidence(which is why they tsundere) and of course stupid as fuck (always thinking: am I in love?)
If ukes in mangas were actual people, i would bitch slap atleast 80% of them

yep! you pretty much hit the nail on the head!! the yaoi mangakas are just getting unoriginal because its such a common trope that they think is successful enough to satisfy readers, when in actual fact alot of us are getting tired of the same shit over and over again ╮(￣▽￣)╭

im not disturbed by rape in mangas; i can handle reading fictional rape but its so obvious that its cheap, lazy writing where rape is only used to get two characters together (and it obviously may be fanservice because S E X). theres literally a million other ways to get two characters together ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ its such a dead unoriginal trope that im surprised some mangakas still use it
