Went through the raws and for anyone who’s curious shuelina does confide in her father about what the empress and azuela have done to her and he believes her without ever questioning it and is so broken up about it he blames himself for being weak and being unable to protect her from them, also she comes to realize that her father + brother from this life are not the same as the ones from her first and she does forgive them and build a relationship with them bc they do love her and it takes her a while but she does see it and acknowledge that every emotion theyve shown her is real and genuine and they never stopped looking for her, they just thought she was a prince thatd passed away at birth until they found out she was a girl and that she was very much alive
Bonus piece of information: the reason they treated her the way they did in her first life was cus they were told the former empress gave birth to a son and since only one person saw the baby they had no reason to think they were lying so it wasnt that they didnt care, they genuinely didnt think she was the princess and kept looking for a son, its also the reason for the princes behaviour towards shuelina, her being upset at the way he treated her started giving him a bad reputation and he didnt like the fact that a “fake princess” was making him look that way, he never stopped looking for his “brother” and thought she was a fraud… also theres some type of magic (again yes basic) at play here that if i remember correctly meant that the prince and emperor would never believe shuelina was who she said she was especially since all her power had been stolen by the time she was an adult
Bonus Bonus: the emperor and azuelas mother never slept together he was drugged (she tried it LOL) and thought they did since they woke up in the same bed the night after and were seen by some guardsbut they didnt and i think deep down he knew which is why he never reallg treated her as his child in this life, shes another mans daughter but from what i saw in spoilers they never really elaborated on who her real father was so idk if theyll change that and do it in the manhwa but we will see
