idk why but imo, the entire story js felt empty and lacking compared to the original, like?? its hard to realize the feelings between the two characters as a reader when all they did was have sex, unlike the original story where the two characters really shared some chemistry and built their way into their relationship. it also goes without saying that, i think the story would've been somewhat better if the misunderstanding was never added to the blend at all, and instead both the characters just had some sweet, slow childhood-friends-to-lovers dynamic happening to them. heck, it would have been better too, if there weren't any feelings involved at all and they just had sex 'cause they could. nice art, but poorly written with a plot that's only there for the plot's sake.
Seeing all the comments and after reading the story I'm honestly surprised on how this story has almost the same rating as the original because as you said, this has no chemistry and I don't feel as it had a good character development, it feels as if everything happens because that's how the plot should go, I would have love to read something as you described.
