The book Silence is actually what really happens in Hiumin and Ilheon’s life, the real story IS Silence and the ending is that Ilheon dies from the stab wound after protecting Hiumin. During this, he—Ilheon— went into a universe that Hiumin created via drawings in Silence, technically the first few chapters were just dreams and a facade that Hiumin created to cope with his trauma. When Hiumin woke up in the cage, that was the reality hitting back but Hiumin THINKS he just got suck into the Silence book (aka parallel universe).Ilheon on the other hand technically went back in time and realised he went back in time during Hiumin’s first heat and first kiss(?) where the next day he was actually planning to go to his studio. That is where Ilheon decided to change the plot story in Silence. Instead of doing the same mistake he did (being selfish, abusive and forcing himself onto Hiumin). With that the plot of Silence changes, making Hiumin and Ilheon’s fate shift. But Hiumin still thinks he is in a parellel universe and is making sure that his fate and Ilheon’s would not end up like the book (but Ilheon knew and actually is doing the same thing). Currently they are at the part of the book where Hiumin falls pregnant and Ilheon decides to imprint him (not in the Silence plot) once again shifting the story—bcs in the story I think Ilheon does not imprint on Hiumin and Hiumin ran away from Ilheon, the Ilheon forcefully took and locked him up, causing him to stress and miscarrying their child. Thats why in percaution, Ilheon locks him up so he wouldnt run away.
