It's rare for stories to focus on the surroundings and storytelling and the male character as a point of view for the comic. Usually they immediately jump to the doe-eyed girl that'll find her *cough*verypredictable*cough* love interest and tell everything from her introduction on to the wedding and whatnot.
I've been so eager to find stories that focus on both people equally, let alone just the guy, or just tell a story that happens to have 2 people falling in love with each other along the way. It's more interesting than the basic shoujo plots. That's one good thing about the Josei genre tag I suppose: Telenovela vibes. :'D
