Anyway here to say ive been enjoying this a lot, at first i was a bit unsure with the three men because it felt a lot like Lennon was getting a pass for his behaviour when he never once tried to help Ellie, I appreciate that they don't make him a cartoonish villain like her dad, more than that he's insidious and genuine about his desires but in a way where he really feels he deserves Ellie as a means to support him rather than as a person? I really love how they've unpacked their relationships, he's very realistically horrible, like a bad ex-boyfriend. Most of them don't go out of their way to be horrible, they just are, either through lying, gaslighting, feeling like they're owed affection without even realising or caring to realise that their partner is a whole person with their own wants and needs.
It really rubbed me the wrong way that Lennon, who was supposed to be the sweet one at the start never once tried to save Ellie from her dad, even Hayden who initially was using Ellie had at least cared about what her father was doing to her even if he set conditions to save her (Not okay Hayden!!! but you redeemed yourself now)

I really love the group she's formed, I like how they weren't typical side characters that immediately love the mc and want to help her, they all have their own motivations and it was fun watching them all slowly grow closer. I have a particular soft spot for Hayden, I was so worried he was going to betray Ellie's trust but he didn't go the Lennon route and actually respected her as a person!!
Now i'm just rooting for Ellie and Hardwin my sweeties!!
