sundayjorge/Jiyeon has this really tender/soft style of story telling that's really *chief kiss* and it has been an ongoing theme in all of her work. Even in Momentum where there was tragedy and angst, she still managed to incorporate her own tenderness through and through. I hope she continues to do so with this, and so far she does not disappoint!

also idk if Jiyeon was behind the romanization for the characters' names but 백산 (Baek San - literally "white mountain") being romanized as Bexan and 아인 (Ah-In) as Ein was quite brilliant. also Leto's former name Diesel could be a nod to Jiyeon's love for motorsports. Momentum had an arc about racing/racers and Jiyeon herself is a fan of Jules Bianchi (google him and read that arc in Momentum and you'd have an "oh!" moment)

love stories that incorporate folklore elements in a modern setting like this one and Fate Makes No Mistake! and yeah both stories have "Deokkebi" in their name!

pretty impressive world building esp for a BL. i hope the author can keep their momentum going instead of being out of idea like some other authors whose stories started with a bang but ended in a whimper.

Reread Mr Hatter triology and Zakk has been dropping hints about Sam-Nobu-Hal since the first volume! Their mind! The Speaker is honestly one of the greatest BLs I've ever read, the world building is insane for how short the series is. Anyone who has purchased the official English translation of Mr Hatter and The Speaker, can y'all chime in and rate how good the translation is in comparison to the fan translation here?

this manga has 3 volumes and is still ongoing lol i wonder what's happening in the plot that still keeps the series going

i think there're quite a number of stories where the 2nd couple get a better writing/plot than the 1st couple. imo it's just the author becoming more familiar/confident with their creative process. some other authors are the opposite, where they started their 1st season/couple strong but then got lost in their own thoughts or got pressured by management to churn out chapters after chapters that the quality of their work decrease with time.

first of all, thanks to the translator for your hard work! your translation is excellent!

now on to the story. i think it has potential to be better, for example a deeper plot that examines the two characters and their feelings for each other more thoroughly or you know, since they're both alphas how about making them switch (can't believe i have never read a switch/seke alpha-alpha couple... when we have Like a Tidal Wave where an omega topping an alpha *chef kiss*). but for 12 chapters and the very nice art oh well i give it a 7/10. hopefully the author will comeback with a longer series in the future.

i mean in chap 108 Taejun and Dojin talked about getting married, or more like Dojin suggested it. Given Dojin's serious/intense personality and Taejun's "Confucian side", it's not a surprise they did indeed get married. And well at this point it's inevitable that our 2 couples are going to meet, so I'm curious to see how this will play out haha

so i read the side story with dojin and taeju and skimmed through the original story... did dowon being shot in france 3 years ago had anything to do with the plot in the OG story? and beom had to do livestream work back then because he was in debt, right? how did that get resolved in the end, did dojin come in to help beom/dowon with that? if anyone can give me a very quick summary of the OG story i'd be very thankful

Yeah so this chapter mentions that Ein was rescued by Techichi (the Chihuahua clan? that the dog clothes designer from the OG story is from) and he himself is the price for the operation that got him out. Next chapters will be about Ein and Leto going on a mission assigned by Techichi. So I guess this season will be about Ein/Leto/the St Petersburg clan going on missions/operations... I have a sinking feeling that they may encounter the mafia that wanted to kill Ein in the first place again but we shall see how the author wants this story to go.

i checked out the last raw chap on n3wt0ki and it seems like one of the old geezer at their company is still scheming against Seonwoo? too bad that's the end of this season so we have to wait for a while before finding out

huh the characters design kinda remind me of The Good Teacher

ugh the last part of chap 12... maika's letter... y'know these days with my job and the plethora of yaoi out there, many of which are just straight up excuse to draw smut with toxic characters, it's getting harder and harder to find a story that sits right with me. but it's stories like this that still keep me hanging around this place, because it's truly good, truly kind, and it tugs at your heartstring just right.

gosh if y'all actually go to n3wt0ki and take notice of the release date of the Korean version, y'all know that the author took frequent hiatus recently, there are multiple times when it took them 2-3 weeks to release a new chapter. the English translation just merely follows the pattern of the Korean release.
